Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis take up their proton packs once more to battle the forcesof evil in Manhattan! After waging a war on slime that cost New York City millions, the Ghostbusters find themselves out of business until an ancient tyrant, preparing a return to the Earthly domain through his portrait at the Manhattan Museum of Modern Art, sets his sights on Dana Barrett's baby as the new home for his wicked soul! With the help of the Museum's possessed curator, he plans to turn New York into a really scary place to live! Now only the Ghostbusters can save New York City, by turning paranormal pest control into an art form!
Having watched and thoroughly enjoyed the first Ghostbusters movie, watching this second installment was must, and growing up in my house this was so very very easy to do for if one was put on you could sure as anything bet that the second would be put on straight after, everytime, without fail. It has been five years since the events of the first film and things are not looking so bright for the team, due to being charged for all the destruction caused, but soon the Ghostbusters are back in business as the city is being attacked my paranormal forces once again.
This was fun, I loved seeing how the team was affected by the previous destruction, very human as one would expect with superheroes etc that the cities would be hit hard and who ends up being punished for it... the people who front the repair bills, in this case it is the Ghostbusters team and I love that aspect of it. The acting once again is great and they all do a wonderful job in their roles and I love that everyone who was in the first is back again. This is such a great follow up from the previous and I can't wait to see where the next film takes us.
