This puzzle is simplicity itself - or is it? At first it seems deceptively simple, and so the concept is (12 rafters, 12 possible positions, and just fit them all in, first facing one way, then to tip them all out and place them in facing backwards), but in practice - well, it can be infuriating.
This game may be a one-off for the adult player, but will give children hours of quiet entertainment.
The only (and very, very slight) downside is that the whole game does not come in a hard case to keep all the pieces together. The box and the packaging will deteriorate very quickly, so one must find a suitable storage container. Having said that, it is only a minor comment that would improve the presentation of the game as a whole.
This game is fun, enjoyable and is great to play with a child. One can use it for relaxation time for one's self, or as an educational tool for one's children.
Great game, great buy.
This is a jigsaw you won't forget in a hurry. Even though it only has 12 pieces, it can be a real challenge to put it together. Once you have mastered getting the rowers into the boat facing forwards, its a whole new challenge to get them to all fit in the boat facing backwards giving you twice the challenge. The big upside is that this will keep you challenged for hours. The downside is that once you have mastered the puzzle in both directions its over.
