I love Hi-5!!! Mainly because the kids do and it keeps them happy for hours. The songs are catchy and i find myself singing along. My kids have learnt so great things from Hi-5 songs, and activities. Charlie, Tim, Kathleen, Nathan and Kelli really appeal to kids (and adults), they are fun and energetic and encourage kids to move with them. Great exercise for the sedentary kid
Ever since they first came to NZ television, my little one has been a dedicated hi-5'er, even if it is often at a really disturbingly early hour of the morning. This dvd is great for all those kids who enjoy getting out of their chair and burning off some energy by having a good old dance in from of the tv. So to the parents, I strongly suggest you make sure the little ones can play this one in another room. If you made the same mistake as I did and hook the dvd player up in the bedroom, you wont get any more sleep after they wake up. But, it keeps them happy and that has to be a good thing. make sure breakfast is not served while the dvd is playing though, or you might end up needing to rush off and hire a rug doctor machine. very cool dvd for kids and parents.

Utilising special macroscopic photographic techniques, the filmmakers created this fascinating and visually spectacular look at the hidden worlds in the life cycle of an ordinary meadow in France.
Insects become gigantic beasts, blades of grass turn into towering monuments, and raindrops form puddles that resemble vast oceans. The filmmakers find humour, drama, and beauty in the lives of these tiny flora and fauna as caterpillars transform themselves into butterflies, beetles struggle with their day's foraging, and snails reproduce their species.
