The legendary Bionicle heroes are snared in webs of deceit, intrigue and betrayal in Bionicle 3: Web Of Shadows!

Even more secrets will be revealed from deep within the world of Bionicle and the Toa will face all-new villains in the most action-packed CGI animated movie yet. With one final duty to fulfil before they can build their new home on the island of Mata Nui, six great Toa heroes return to Metru Nui and find their once-glorious city shrouded in shadows and overrun by a sinister pack of spidery, web slinging Visorak.

Mysteriously transformed into strange beast-like creatures known as Toa Hordika, the Toa realise their mission to rescue the stranded Matoran, held captive by dark powers, will be anything but easy.

Following on from the previous 2 movies, this story tells of how the new Toa are split, and their destiny, and the future of all the trapped Matoran, is put at risk by the break in the sacred unity of the 6 Toa.

Though there were some continuity breaks, like the sudden appearance of a fleet of flying ships that were apparently built by the Toa, and some fights that started, and then suddenly ended without any actual battle, and a few journeies that took no time at all... but then, such is the way of many movies these days, where blanks spots are to be expected. It is still a shame, but in this case the story suffers little and leaves the story as a whole pretty compelling in it's own right.

Overall, a wonderful movie, well loved by those of any age who like this kind of thing, but be aware that without the first 2 movies, this one will seem a bit abrupt to start, and some background information is clearly missing, so if you like one, get them all.
