Growing up I was always fascinated by bugs and insects, I used to have a bug catcher complete with net, however as I have grown up the passion of catching bugs to look at has definitely gone. If I see a spider you will catch me squealing and trying to get rid of it, my pet peeve though has to be flies. I absolutely cannot stand them and how unhygienic they are to have around. Last year we had a bad summer with an influx of flies due to the heat and humidity, I wasn't looking forward to the influx of flies again this summer.
After a week of really bad fly gatherings in my house I decided that the fly spray I was using obviously wasn't doing its job effectively, I then did some research into fly deterrents which led me to this Fly Off Surface Cleaner. I was quite taken aback by the cost of a 500ml bottle being $17.95 but hoped this was because it was effective and environmentally friendly. The website description says the peppermint and eucalypt help repel flies and insects, it can be sprayed on insect trails to repel ants, mice or other pests. I decided to purchase a bottle to try as I was getting desperate, I am so glad I did.
The bottle arrived and I found it was quite simple Looking, there is a blue label with the writing on it which is stuck onto a black plastics spray bottle. The instructions were simple to follow, spray on the surface to clean and the smell of the cleaner would repel the flies. I quickly unlocked the trigger and sprayed my benches and wiped them. I waited eagerly to see if any flies would land, none did so I was over the moon with happiness. Each spray let's out a decent amount of cleaner and the smell is pleasant. I sprayed the bench first thing in the morning and some got on a fly, the fly started to slow down, and eventually died, this approach was more effective than the fly sprays I had been using. The fact that this is made of natural ingredients means it is non-toxic, kind to the environment, and I especially love that it is safe to use around my young children.
I highly recommend this Fly Off Surface Cleaner as it is highly effective, natural, and you won't have to spend ages spraying nasty chemical filled fly sprays around your home.
