Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius - Sea of Trouble product reviews

10 episodes from the delightful Jimmy Neutron range.

Raise The Oozy Scab:
Jimmy and Cindy have to team up for a science project. They're going to search for the sunken treasure ship, the Oozy Scab, in a submarine Jimmy's built. And just like on land, when you put these two together, you're bound to encounter a sea of trouble!

The Phantom Of Retroland:
For his history report, Nick tells about the Phantom of Retroland, a monster who lives at the local amusement park. In the interest of science, Jimmy sets out to disprove this urban tale with a little help from Carl and Sheen.

Hypno Birthday To You:
Jimmy needs some chemicals to finish an experiment. Unfortunately, he's got no money and his birthday is three months away. Or is it? Jimmy uses his hypno-beam to trick his parents into thinking his birthday is tomorrow. But when every day's got a tomorrow, birthdays - and Jimmy - gets old really fast!

Hall Monster:
When Jimmy is elected to the new hall monitor, he vows to bring hall monitoring into the 21st century, inventing a host of new gadgets for the job. Unfortunately, the only thing Jimmy's high-tech inventions do is ensure that his friends do whatever it takes to end his reign of hall terror!

Trading Faces:
It's another invention mishap for Jimmy. But this time, it's worse than ever - Jimmy and Cindy have switched brains!

Journey To The Center Of Carl:
Jimmy creates a "get out of school" patch that makes kids sick when they wear it. But the patch dissolves into everyone's skin, making them sick forever unless Jimmy can develop a vaccine!

I Dream Of Jimmy:
Carl is exhausted. He can't sleep because he's been having a recurring nightmare. So Jimmy develops the "Dream Injector 5000" and goes inside Carl's nightmare to investigate. And what he finds is, well, frightening.

Substiture Creature:
Things go awry when Miss Fowl accidentally swallows a seed from Jimmy's DNA-accelerated spinich plant. Aside from providing Miss Fowl with a day's supply of vitamins, she's turned into a 50-foot plant creature.

Broadcast Blues:
Jimmy's starring in a school-sponsored cable-access show, "Science with Jimmy." The show's ratings are awful, so Principal Willoughby assigns Cindy and Libby to liven things up!

Professor Calamitous, I Presume:
One of Miss Fowl's former students, Professor Finbarr Calamitous, was a brilliant boy "who could never finishing anything, not even a sentence." Now he's a mad scientist and he's returned to Retroville to take Jimmy hostage, forcing him to complete his unfinished inventions!

Excellent value for money, this disc is a perfect addition to the library of any kid. With wierd science and totally hilarious moments scattered generously throughout, this appeals to an adult audience just as well. 10 episodes for $25 is wonderful, and with nearly 2 hours of madcap moments and insane combinations of Jimmy's whacky ideas and childish naiveity, you'll laugh the afternoon away with your kids.
My favourite has to be the last episode, Professor Calamitous, I Presume for a number of reasons. Mainly because he reminds me of a childhood teacher I once met who was never able to finish things. It used to frustrate all those around her, often with tongue-in-cheek-funny consequences.
Well worth the buy at even $0, this is a real bargain at $25.
