Photoshop User is the Photoshop "how-to" magazine and each bimonthly issue teaches you the most requested special effects, the coolest inside tips, shares the secrets to being more productive and efficient, and explains in plain English the key techniques you need to know to stay on the cutting edge.

With each issue you'll have access to the vast knowledge of award-winning designers and photographers, prepress experts, Photoshop authors, cutting edge Web designers, and some of most famous names in the Photoshop community, all sharing their inside secrets to make you better. There's never been a Photoshop magazine anything like it.

-Reviews of Photoshop plug-ins, digital cameras, pro-quality printers, scanners, etc.
-Showcase of NAPP members work

-and many, many more

Plus you'll always get the straight scoop on which plug-ins, scanners, digital cameras, and Photoshop enhancements are hot (and which ones are not!)

Each issue is like getting a mini-Photoshop book and you'll want to keep at your desk to refer to again and again. Each issue covers a wide range of topics for every skill level from beginner, intermediate, to advanced. By the time you finish even one issue of Photoshop User, you're worth more to your clients, customers, and company, and you get a subscription when you join the NAPP. Don't go another day without receiving this invaluable resource all year long.

Incidentally, since Photoshop User is by NAPP members, for NAPP members, we do not sell subscriptions to the public. The subscription is a benefit of membership and is available for members only. Great magazines for learing some more photoshop skills with easy to follow tutorials. The two copies I have, January/February and April/May 2006, are the first photoshop user mags I have looked at. Both have techniques that I will be using a lot for my graphic design course, and if I can get over the frustration of trying to use Illustrator I can use those skills too :D

Having been a photoshop junkie for many years (since v2 on the MAC actually) I was stunned to find that I could have had access to this fine publication without the expense of signing up as a NAPP member. To be truthful, it wasn't so much the cost that stopped me, but more the feeling of "I am NOT a professional, so..."

But to my great joy about 2 years ago I located a magazine reseller in my home town that was importing the issues and was willing to get an extra copy in for me too. I was overjoyed as my Photoshop skills started to improve dramatically... with the help of this magazine I felt good enough to start going 'public' with some of my artwork... which is a big deal for someone who can't even draw a circle freehand!

Always packed with hints, tips and tricks that to the experienced may seem obvious and somewhat basic, to someone wanting to sink their teeth into Photoshop and grow their ability, this magazine is an invaluable aid. And with the added bonus of an annual "Top 100 Tricks" this magazine is worth far more than mere money can describe.

If you are serious about wanting to improve your Photoshop knowledge, I can not recommend this publication too highly! My only regret is that by buying it through a retailer, I have to wait longer than the NAPP members, who get it sent directly to them as part of their subscription and membership.

To Scott Kelby, PS Guru and Editor-in-Chief, CONGRATS! And keep up the great work! It is appreciated by all who absorb your fine publication.
