Personally, I would choose remote controlled aerial vehicles over ground ones, but when it does come to RC cars, this one really does set itself apart from other cars I've seen or used. This car was quite fast, in fact at full speed it got enough momentum to perform an almost complete 180 drift, which was impressive. While the car could handle going along smooth concrete amazingly well, it's performance began to drop when It was put onto other terrains. For starters, the car didn't handle going on lawn that well, it frequently got stuck in even the smallest dips, and also got stuck in mulched grass.

Also, contrary to one's original expectations, this car didn't handle ramps well either, it would go onto the ramp but lost momentum almost instantly, even with the joystick at full throttle, however, there was quite a cool effect that ensued the jump. This little "occurrence" was a good indication of the car's suspension capabilities. As soon as the car left the ramp, it went into a nose dive, but as soon as it hit the ground, the springs recoiled, causing the car to bounce up off it's front suspension bumper, flip forward, and land on it's wheels ready to keep riding. I thought this was quite cool, and makes good use of it's springs. The tyres are excellent, despite me doing constant drifting, the tyres are still in good condition, even though they have medium tread and are thus exposed to friction and wear.

The outer hull is also durable, the car has taken it's share of bumps and scrapes, but apart from a few little "war wounds", it is still in excellent shape! Smile Icon Now, as it turns out, this car has an additional feature. The front wheels have 5 different positions instead of the conventional 3. These positions are: center, half-left, full-left, half-right, and full-right. This allows the car to make shallower turns. However, the car's turning circle isn't that great, it has about a 1-metre diameter turning-circle, which extends to about 1.5 when the wheels are at their half-turn positions, but this can make things a bit tricky when trying to maneuver the car, especially in a slalom.

The car took about 2 hours to charge, both times I charged it, which is 40 minutes more than the box advertises, however, the running time is bang-on what the box advertises: 40 minutes, giving the charge-to-runtime ratio a value of approx. 3:1. I could tell when the car was running low on battery, as I just felt a gradual decrease in performance over time, and when the car was going at what felt like a fraction of it's original speed, the battery died soon after. I like the charging port, it is compact, isn't one of those annoying ones where the main body of it sits off to the left or the right of the wall socket, which is an absolute painus in the anus when it comes to multiboards, but instead the body sits below the socket, making it more space-efficient.

Overall, I would say that this car it's worth every cent of it's high price. So, would I recommend this product to anyone else? The answer's yes!
