Tupperware snack cups have been around for as long as I can remember and have definitely lasted the test of time from everything I've seen! My mum brought some of these before I was born and they are still going strong to this day. I am now using these with my baby girl and I have been nothing but impressed with the quality - yes they are a bit faded but that's about all that's different between these and a brand new set. They are the perfect size for snacks, cut up fruit or yoghurt portions. They are also the perfect size for little hands to hold when they are full of morsels of goodies.

I have been that impressed with these containers that I have recently brought another set - I was really horrified at the price to be honest - it is a LOT more than what I would ever pay for any other container. I now know why so many parents insist on their child's containers coming home from day-care and get overly upset if they don't - I would to at this price!! The only thing that convinced me is the fact I know they really do stand the test of time.

One thing I have noticed is that with the new containers the lids are a lot harder to push on and I would imagine that a young child would struggle with this - I know of several 3year olds at my work (day-care) that struggle with the same containers. My only hope is that this gets better with time - the old containers I have certainly are a lot easier to push the lids on to.

If your feeling rich - then I certainly recommend this product - they will last the test of time providing you don't loose them!! Smile Icon

I've had some of these snack cups for years but have also purchased some more recently as they are fantastic - in fact I don't think I could ever have enough of these... I'm thinking of getting even more as they are always in use!

Mostly I use them for school lunches. They are perfect for a serving size of yoghurt so you can easily buy the more economical bigger containers and divide them up. I notice if my 5 year old doesn't eat it all, she won't put the lid back on properly though... but I'm sure she could if she used a hard surface to push against.

They are also great for pieces of fruit - I never send a whole apple as most of it would just get wasted, but a 1/4 or 1/3 piece fits well in these containers and doesn't go brown, so it's an economical way to send fruit. Other fruit fits nicely in here too, and even canned fruit salad - you know they will never leak.

We also use them to store leftovers - that little bit of grated cheese that didn't get eaten at dinner, grated carrot, onions, sauce that didn't quite fit in the bottle etc etc... you name it, it goes in here! I just wish they had clear lids so I could see at a glance what was in there.

I am a huge Tupperware fan but rarely buy it these days as it's so expensive, and you can often find similar cheaper options, but this is one thing that I believe is well worth the money.

I bought a set of these snack cups when I was pregnant and was lucky to get a few free sample ones along the way through various magazines and sign up deals. I really like Tupperware, though I often find them to be very expensive. However, they really are built to last and so value for money-wise they are tops.

These cups come in a range of bright and fun colours. For us it meant that the cups made a great first toy for baby. I would give these to my first baby, and put a few snacks in them. She would be able to use them as a rattle. Later when she was hungry I would open them up and she could have her snack.

These are safe to use in the freezer, and are great for storing small portions of baby food as well as half cans of fruit or baked beans. I also use one to take butter to work, where I don't want to take a whole block of butter in. I have used them to hold decorations for cakes and cupcakes or gingerbread men. That way, my little helper doesn't end up eating every sugar treat I have, and I have portion control over the "one for the cake, one for me" mentality.

The only thing I find with these containers is that the lids go missing all to easily. I currently have three without lids and I'm not sure where they have gone to. Chances are they are sitting in a toy box somewhere. But they are less useful without the lids. Still, I could go and buy new lids I'm sure.

Tupperware Snack Cups have been around for years and are made to last. I have recently inherited some my grandmother has had for over twenty years and apart from the fact the colours are very dated they are in great condition. The seals are the same size as the modern ones I bought about two years ago which is great when the kids leave things behind.

I use these containers for yogurt, tinned fruit, jelly, dry cereal or dried fruit. My kids (3 and 4.5) can usually open it themselves although they don't always hold it level which unfortunately means that the contents tends to spill out. I love that I can freeze the containers so in the heat of summer the kids get frozen yoghurt in their lunch box which becomes a chilled treat by lunch time.

The snack cups fit well in Tupperware's lunch keeper and lunch keeper plus which all helps to create a rubbish free lunches. I love the vibrant colours the snack cups currently come in, green, yellow, aqua and pink. These are great for families like mine with girls but as they are sold as a set a family of all boys might not want this. The thing idon'tlike about this is the cost. As with all Tupperware it comes with a life time guarantee but that is no good if the kids lose them.

I make homemade yoghurt and I was getting annoyed using the big containers that come with the yoghurt marker as it wouldn't fit in the kids lunchboxes, so I brought some snack cups for that reason yoghurt, it saves room in the lunchbox and the kids can open them on their own just a peel off lid instead of screwing. They are sealed that if you tip it upside down the yoghurt isnt going to fall out or leak. They come in great colours and you can match them with the tupperware lunchboxes.

The bottoms of them can go in the mircowave on 50% heat but not the lids, and this is great for baby food that needs reheating so instead of putting it into another container you can keep it in the same one. I also use these for so many things, rice wheels, chips so they not getting a whole packet, dried fruit and much more there are so many uses for them.

What about not using them for food, yup you can store things in there like pins, glitter if you really want, glue if your going away and want to do art with kids just pop some paint and glue in some and seal the lids on tight, easy transport instead of taking the big bottles of glue and paint this will save room aswell.

For the price of $31 you can't really go wrong, they are useable for many things, so if you haven't got a set , you might want to invest in some, I have to get some more cause the 4 I have just isnt enough
