When it comes to cleaning the bathroom I am sure tjat everyone despises the thought of cleaning the toilet and as much as it is a horrible job, not cleaning it is even worse :/ Harpic white and shine is my favourite product for toilet cleaning. When I first purchased it, I do admit I was just a little bit dissapointed that I did not get the end result that is shown on TV. I know that TV ads are embellished big time, its what encourages or entices us into buying a product, and even though I knew the toilet bowl wouldn't blind me I was still a little sad about it haha
However, even though I was not blinded, I was definitely impressed. Harpic white n shine really does whiten and shine better than any other product I have tried so far (I admit I have not purchased anything else since I first tried it though, but had used a few different products prior). It is simple and easy to use. No mess, no fuss, and the toilet looked and smelled super clean too. It really made the bowl white, bright and very shiny.
Even though Harpic white n shine is a toilet cleaner, I confess to oneday using it to remove the extremely stubborn ring in my bathtub after I got sick of trying to scrub it clean. To my surprise Harpic white n shine worked an absolute treat, & with a rinse of hot water, disinfectant, then hot water again...no scrubbing! My bathtub looked brand new. I was very very impressed.
Harpic white n shine is under $5 a bottle. I tend to grab it when it is on special (Im a bit of a scrooge like that). It lasts well, although I was dissapointed in how long the first bottle lasted but when I took into account two loos and a bathtub, it actually was extremely good value, especially for the fantastic job it does. Yip I highly recommend Harpic white n shine :)
One of the worst jobs must be cleaning the toilet. My boys are always wanting to touch and throw things into the toilet.
I like the way it does actually clean and you can see it is clean, not like a lot of cleaners that have the clean smell but you can't tell by looking at the toilet if it is clean or not, with the white and shine the toilet is white. I did battle a bit to open the cap so I know if the kids manage to get their hands on it then it is safe.
Another good thing is that you can squirt the liquid on the bowl and scrub immediately or if a more thorough clean is needed squirt and leave for about ten minutes and either way it is clean.
I hate housework, but for some unknown reason, I really like cleaning the toilet. I think it's because its the one place where you absolutely know when it's been done. The bathroom smells of cleaner and the toilet is shiny and not dusty. I recently selected Harpic White and Shine for my toilet cleaner in conjunction with a rim hanger.
What first attracted me to this product was the bottle. Because its white with a red top, it is quite striking on the shelf. The other products are usually a bold green or pink or purple. I like the white, it says clean to me. The smell of this has the citrus, but also the baking soda and bleach. That's okay though because it feels like you are using a really powerful cleaner.
I let it soak a little while into the bowl and then gave it a good scrub. The toilet came up pretty well clean. Friends came over later that day and commented that they could tell I had been cleaning in the bathroom that day. Having children its important to me that I use good products that work. They need to be safe, and I found the cap was definitely child-proof as I struggled a little with it myself!
I am quite fanatical about having a clean toilet, there is nothing that bugs me more than going in to the toilet and seeing it unclean and my family probably get sick of my rantings over who left the toilet in a state. Yip I clean the toilet at least once every day and I also quickly run into the toilet when people come over just to make doubley certain that it is clean!
I like this toilet cleaner as it seems to brighten the toilet bowl, and I like to use bleach on the toilet for it's germ killing power. This definitely has that bleach smell to it which always makes me think of clean!
The liquid is quite thick so it stays on the sides of the bowl long enough for you to give it a scrub before it all runs off down the bowl. Some liquids seem to be too runny so they run down so quick that you aren't left with much to actually clean the toilet with by the time you get the brush out.
The result is a sparkly clean toilet, I use this in combination with janola wipes which I use to wipe down the toilet seat and stuff with so that I have a really clean toilet, such a small thing means so much, I think it has a lot to do with my phobia of public toilets!!
Toilets are where I am wary about, with two young children that touch the sides when getting on and off the toilet seat and of course making a mess in the toilet, you can't help but need to clean the toilet all the time to ensure its nice for guests.
This product makes me feel better when I clean my toilet, the gel is thick and sticks to the sides of the toilet so you can give it a good scrub, it gives out a clean smell with the bleach working well. I love the fact it kills the germs and keeps the toilet nice and clean, its quick and easy to use and has a child lock lid to stop the little ones getting it and trying to help. It can reach over the bowl lip with the shape of the nozzle.
The bottle is easy to hold and doesn't slip out of your hand, it says white and shine and that is what it says, whitens and shines. I do love the clean toilet smell.
Being a bit of a bleach fanatic (sad, I know) I couldn't wait to try Harpic White and Shine when I saw it on the supermarket shelf and as a double bonus it was on special as a new introduction offer.
The bottle is a traditional toilet bleach shape with a slanted neck and it is white plastic with a red screw top tamper proof top....which I actually have trouble getting into so I can totally rest assured that any children visiting my house are safe from getting into the bottle.
Oh man one of the yuckiest jobs is cleaning the toilet!! It is never a pleasant job but it has just become much easier with the use of white and shine from Harpic. With the added bonus of a thick bleach gel which sticks to the rim and the sides of the toilet bowl easier which eliminates some of the scrubbing making the job easier and quicker.....and the results are almost immediate with the powerful acting bleach disinfecting while the baking soda whitens.
One of the most dreaded cleaning tasks, cleaning the toilet is now a lot easier with Harpic White & Shine. I can rest assured that with 99.99% of germs eliminated from my toilet I know it is cleaner, and with the citrus scent I am left with a pleasant smell as well.
Presented in eye-catching white livery bottle I was attracted to the clean looking bottle and if my toilet becomes as white and shiny as the bottle I will be a happy lady!! With its germ killing properties and baking soda for ultimate shine, Harpic White & Shine is the perfect solution for a sparkling toilet and with the added bonus of that bleach smell I will continue to buy this product because I know it works and if it makes cleaning the toilet easier I am all for that!.
