Stop The Clock product reviews

Robyn Martin aims to help people maintain good health, eat well and avoid the once-expected and accepted processes of aging. Written with humour and in a light-hearted yet informative tone.

Stop the Clock is full of delicious, mouth-watering recipes, all stunningly photographed by Alan Gillard. An added bonus is that all the recipes are easy and quick to make - in classic Robyn Martin tradition.

It is divided into chapters that each focus on one aspect of aging. Each chapter will contain recipes to help deal with that aging process; and also anti-aging antidotes - background information on the importance of certain foods.

The chapters are based on the following topics: Fats; Heart; Joint health; Menopause; Prostate cancer; Brain; and Skin.

This book has some really yummy food in it that is surprisingly healthy. On the down side you really have to like salmon. This is a good book to have in your cooking library for some of those special occasions, however it is not something that you are going to use on a day to day basis.

The recipes are easy to follow and the instructions are clear and accurate. Over all I find this book below average.

Product reviews for listing 397: All Tomorrow's Parties
Written by William Gibson

Product image for All TomorrowLaney, living on blue cough medicine in a cardboard city, is scanning for nodality, for the future. A future that depends on Rei Toei, the idoru - beautiful girl, virtual icon, post-human being.

Rydell - ex-cop, ex-security for Lucky Dragon convenience stores - is working for Laney, sort of, but he's looking for a future too, and for Chevette, who was once his girl (and is now on the run). And now Rydell's back in San Francisco, back ... more...
