I have finally found it, my dream Home Office printer. It has it all, print CD/DVDs, super glossy photos up to A4, print direct from digital card, PC-free mode, standard photo sizes, 6-colour printing... the whole hill'a'beans.

I printed everything I could dream up, from a stack of letterheads through A4 3.2 megapixel photographs direct from XD card, through to customised backup CDs for the archived files. I have even taken care of this years holiday cards through to New Years... all using the tools shipped on the CD. You get it all when you get this unit.

With impressive printing quality and times, the R310 is the central production hub for any small business, home enthusiast or professional seeking a more immediate solution to their image production needs.

With all the features of it's baby brother, the R210 plus a few new tricks, such as the optional Bluetooth adaptor and add-on LCD preview screen, this would have to be the ideal printer of choice for anyone seriously looking for a fully-functioned print station.

With the working area increasingly going wireless, the Bluetooth was a feature that captured my attention fairly solidly, since we are slowly going BT in the office area and any extra equipment that can adapt to the wireless office environment is an asset to keep an eye on.

Overall, this printer blew me away. I was interested in one before having the chance to test-drive it, but now I REALLY want one, moreso because it really does justify itself, and will pay itself off in no time, with the amount I can save from no longer needing to outsource certain niche production needs. Personal highlight: Figuring out the print-from-card controls without the manual or helpfiles. Just what I saw on the buttons and onboard LCD screen, and the picture went from card to paper in record time.

Truely my Hit Pick for the month!
