Money Puzzles product reviews

This book is designed for all ages and will get you thinking logically, laterally and practically. It is acceptable to admit to being bad at maths but it is unlikely you will hear "I can not count money". All of these puzzles look simple until you try to solve them.

It is about effective critical thinking, problem solving and fincial literacy. It is a collection of tricky practical puzzles dealing with money, a context that is based on real-life experiences, easy to understand and related to everyone.

The puzzles are designed to both entertain and educate. The skills that can be gained from the book are very practical and ones that anyone can use, no matter what they are doing.

well I will start by saying I'm not the brightest penny of the bunch, but I like to get myself thinking, and this book certainly does it.

I'm not a fan of mathmatical equations mainly because I dont really care how far some joker will be able to drive his car off a cliff!. While this book is full of equations most of them DO APPLY TO REAL LIFE!

Not a book I would read on a 14 hour flight, but definately one to get the old noggin thinken.

I have always been a fan of puzzles and the like... mainly because I have a bad memory, and these help me train my mind to keep up with the world around me. I might not remember much, but I find I can deal with almost any situation as it arises because of that training.

Books like this one are perfect for such training. With real-life situations, as well as 'fantasy' ones that disguise very real situations and use important mathematical tools, this publication has a very important part to play in the development of any young mind.

Even though I would class myself as a 'smart cookie' on some subjects, and an experienced puzzler, there were some in here that had me stumped, and some that looked almost too simple to bother with... until I found I had gotten the answers wrong! Shock! Horror! Stunned Silence!

Overall, I have to rate this book right up there with anything put out previously. I haven't encountered a book like this, dedicated to financial thinking... and because of it's narrow scope I wouldn't find it appealing for long periods... but as a way to pass a quiet hour or two, this is a good one.
