We brought this game for our 3 year old daughter and she loves it. We had been to the local zoo who has Lions and since then she had become a little obsessed with the big cats so this game was perfect for her.
To begin with you get to choose either the bears or the cats and she has chosen a lion which she named Honey. Its so cute watching her interact with Honey as she cuddles him and pats him you really wish it was real.
Honey and my daughter go on adventures together and play games like fetch and throwing the ball trying to knock items over. Some of the activities are a little hard for her and so either her father or myself have to jump in and complete the task but the majority of the 'games' she can do by herself. We only had to show her how to set up the game once and that was it she was on her way. She stands in front of the Kinect and waves her hand around and yells out instructions although doesn't always understand her) or else she hovers her hand over the item on the screen.
Its amazing what the game can do and its so neat watching her interact with the animals on the screen especially when she gets to pat it and tickle it.
Even though Little Miss 3 can play the game I think it is probably suited more for older kids as I know she is not using it to its full capacity. When she plays its usually for only around half hour and then she gets bored of it and wants to play something else. I think we will be keeping this for a long time to come as my baby really wants to play too.
This is a cute game that many kids will absolutely adore. The game is about the island of Lemuria where you can adopt and interact with one of 5 baby cats or 5 baby bears. The control system is entirely done using body movements and voice controls.
While the game seems pretty basic to begin with, it is actually quite involved and does include a rather big adventure where you get to wander the island and discover it's secrets with your new found pets.
The control system is acutally quite well done and the kinect system seems to pickup the movements rather well, in fact better than many other games, but I suspect this is due to the fact that it is a childs game and their reactions are generally slower and can be monitored and registered easier.
This is a great game for kids and it's also brilliant to see the looks of joy on their faces as their pet plays wth them and reacts to their movements and voice commands.
