We hired this for our kids to play but think I got a whole lot more out of it then they did, although we do intend on buying it soon. Our 6 year old had trouble navigating around the park as he couldn't grasp the required movement but really got the hang of the games as did our 3 year old.

Being able to interact with the characters, participate in quests, look for hidden Mickeys and play games makes this a complete experience, probably the only thing missing is to actually be able to eat at the restaurants. I feel this is a game without an end, and as such as you could go on exploring and playing the games long after you've finished the last one, a good game to get out on a wet day.

Most people would enjoy playing this game and being made up of mini games it means that it's easy to jump on and play for a short time. Being a kinect game means however, that you aren't just sitting on the couch with a controller and you can end up having a whole lot of fun jumping and swerving around the room, just make sure you close the curtains!

My dream is to go to Disneyland and as soon as I heard this game was coming out we had to buy it!! Originally it was a family Christmas present for my three year old but if we are honest really just brought it for myself.

My daughter does love playing it and cuddling the characters but a majority of the games are a little hard for her. She can navagate around the park no worries but basically stays in Fantasyland and flys with Peter Pan or dances with the Princesses.

It wasn't what I was expecting to be honest but it is fun. Although you can have two players playing at any given time we just long on under my daughters name and just help her out with the difficult challengers. She also loves the snow fight and she is amazing at it.

I think this game would probably be suited more for children over the age of 5 maybe 6 although my three year old does love playing it.

You collect coins along the way and you can buy stuff at the shops. You can ride the attractions and interact with characters. There are tasks that you need to complete and items that you need to find. There is a route that you can follow or else go out on your own.

For the first couple of months we used to play all the time now it just sits on the shelf but I am sure when she is older and I have more time we will be back into it with a vengeance.

Now I will be honest here and say I did not play test this one myself, what I did do however was to get my 10yo to give it a whirl and then asked me to give his thoughts on the game which I would then sum up below. I thought it would be a good challenge as one of his dreams for when he grows up is to be a Video Game Tester.... Ahhh if only that was a career option when I was younger.

Right enough of that, on with the review.... You start out on the main street of DisneyLand, and there are various things to interact with here, there are some of the Disney characters, such as Mickey, Minnie and Goofy, you can talk with the characters either by using body and hand movements, or by using voice commands which are picked up quite clearly by the Kinects in-built microphone.

As well as interacting with the characters they will also give you mini quests to perform. In place of the various rides you have a whole heap of mini-games such as, flying around London like Peter Pan, or fly through space or shoot water at a hiipo's mouth. All these are really fun and make you really want to go to the real DisneyLand.

There is a bit of a trouble with the movements as sometimes it doesn't seem to see what you are doing with your hands and body, and it's hard to get things in the right place sometimes when you need to, but that still doesn't make me not want to play it.
