Review by Charlotte 7 years 8 months old:
i really liked the box it was nice and detailed, bright and showed me good ideas of what i could make, i like that it advertised other items in the series like the cakes and muffins.
using this product was very simple for me although the piping details were hard to use. i like that i could use my imagination to create what i wanted not what i had to.
I wish it had more key chains not just the one then i could put all of them on my school bag or attach to my jeans but i can only do that with one.
the instructions were really great with good details, i liked the piece of paper that showed me different ways i could pipe the glue and decorate my tarts even if it was tricky.
i think i will use the ones that couldn't have key chains in my dolls house because i dont know what else to do with them.
what could have been better:
i think it should have different colored glues instead of just white maybe a light brown for chocolate or a pink for strawberry.
more key chains
a better fruit selection like pineapple or other berries
more in the set would be cool too
notes from me:
I personally enjoyed watching Charlotte with this product, it was nice to see her imagination run wild as she was thinking up ways to decorate it. the piping patterns had her stumped for a little while but she eventually got the hang of it and made some great tarts.
I liked how there was plenty of the glue left over and that it was resealable so we could use it at a later date.
a very appealing product and i would consider buying it again as it is pretty simple and exciting for girls 7-9 years.
it would be nice to see a boys version in the blue with maybe pizzas or burgers, as the box looks girly and pink it is only being advertised to one group of people.
I agree with Charlotte that the packs would be better with maybe three small piping bags of glue with three different colors rather then one large bag of just white.
Overall i give this product a 8/10
