Dirty Bertie - Bogeys!Product reviews...
I enjoyed this book more than Alan MacDonalds' Dirty Bertie - Bogey's! It wasn't quite as gross and seemed better written and was very funny.
It has three stories, each separated into chapters of about 6 to 9 pages. Almost every page has black and white illustrations related to the text. These illustrations assist a learner reader but because they are so simple they don't distract from the text.
Miss Five enjoys these books and they are a great transition to chapter books for her because the chapters are so short.
Dirty Bertie can only but appeal to boys due to the subject matter and Bertie's madcap solutions to the everyday issues he encounters.
A very funny book and with Christmas approaching this would be a great present to slip in for boys aged 5 yrs up.
