The final movie in the Arthur and The Invisibles trilogy.
When Arthur receives a distress call sent from the Minimoys, the invisible people who live in his back garden, he rushes to their aid, ready to fight the evil Emperor Maltazard and save Princess Selenia.
But, what he doesn't know is that the plea for help is all part of Maltazard's evil plan to trick Arthur into entering the Minimoys' world, reversing the magic that makes him bigger.
Now it's Arthur that stands at just half an inch tall and Maltazard who is larger than life and running riot in Arthur's world. At his new diminutive proportions, has Arthur got what it takes to defeat the evil Emperor?

Watch out Human world... the evil Maltazard has been set loose! Arthur is back in the world of the mini-moys and on an adventure with Selenia and Betameche, to save his world from being taken over by the evil M. After loving the first movie (which was fascinating and cute), and enjoying the 2nd movie (which was still fun to watch although not as good as the first), I was looking forward to another fun, adventure filled, colourful movie that would finish the story off properly. Well, yes, it concluded the story, yet left it open in a way that they can either comfortably leave it altogether, or pick it up with a new movie; yes, there was definitely fun and adventure for the kids and plenty of colour to keep them interested, but for adults "Arthur and the War of the Two Worlds" is far cornier and nowhere near as good as the two preceding movies.
Arthur's parents feature a lot more this time round, but their characters are weak and annoying, scatterbrained and flustered as they try to deal with Arthur's disappearance, along with the appearances of some rather strange creatures and talking insects who interrupt their rather simple world. Arthur is definitely the strongest personality in this particular family, and far more the "adult" in both worlds where he's surrounded by those who are supposed to be the adults and protectors.
Darkos (played by Iggy Pop) is nothing more than a bumbling, snivelling idiot with some serious Daddy abandonment issues this time round as he continues to try and capture Arthur so he can drag him off to his father, but gets sidetracked with trying to cope when he ends up topside in the human world, which, admittedly, does make for a few mild laughs. Meanwhile Princess Selenia has become even more arrogant (she was at least somewhat bearable in the last 2 movies), and it wasn't long before I grew tired of her constant sarcastic, criticising nature as she travelled with Arthur and Betameche. It became rather hard to tell who was the more annoying character out of the Princess, Arthur's parents, and Darkos.
Overall, this was a rather poor attempt to finish off the trilogy, corny and filled with weak, wimpy, annoying characters, but there is still enough fast paced action and familiar characters that kids 10 and under will probably still get plenty of enjoyment out of it.
