McLeod's Daughters - Songs from the Series vol 2 product reviews

The vast outback cattle property of Drovers Run is the home of McLeod's Daughters, Channel Nine's four-time Logie Award winning, top-rating series.

The gripping program has become compulsive viewing since its 2001 debut when the two McLeod half-sisters inherited a huge cattle property from their father and were thrown together after 20 years apart. With an all-female workforce and an abundance of heart and humour, they committed to an extraordinary life at Drovers Run.

Following on from the success of Volume One of the show's soundtrack, comes 'McLeod's Daughters - Songs from the Series Vol II". This wonderful album features more sensational songs written by Posie Graeme-Evans (the executive producer and creator of McLeod's Daughters) and performed by Rebecca Lavelle.

The ultimate easy-listening album, no fan of the show should be without it!

Having been a fan of the series of McLeod's Daughters right from the first episode, I've also been a fan of the music that has been played throughout. Once I managed to get my hands on the soundtrack, it has been played regularly, and I've enjoyed just as much each time I listen to it.

For those who have never watched McLeod's Daughters... if you like music that carries good messages within it's lyrics, is a little haunting yet sooting, and very relaxing, then this one could be worth a try.

For those who have watched McLeod's Daughters, and enjoyed it and the music, then this is definitely worth getting... listen to the music and let it take you back down memory lane of Tess, Claire, little Charlotte, Stevie, and the rest of the cast, and see if you can remember what episodes each song was played with.

Now I just need to find the soundtrack for the first series!! :)

As an occasional watcher of the show, I would have to say that the background music was one of the highlights of the show for me.

I enjoyed the album, and will have it handy for those times I need something a little softer on the ears. Will make a wonderful change from the usual music I have around.

Overall, a very cool album, and a sure hit with anyone who enjoys the show.
