Standing 45cm (1.5ft) tall, this construction set is 1 of 4 in the Fun Park series.
Containing 478 pieces, and targetted at builders aged 7 years and up, it's fun for all the family and a great way to pass a wet afternoon.
The Ferris Wheel is motorised and runs off 2 'AA' batteries (not included) and provides hours of fun even after construction is finished.
Using the new Lego-compatible blocks, you can extend this as far as your imagination, and supply of pieces, allows.
Also available: Speed Rollercoaster, Octopus Whirl and Drop-n-Swing.

K'Nex Road Rigs - Tow TruckProduct reviews...
K'Nex are rapidly becoming one of my favourite father-son pass-times. With kid-friendly and clearly illustrated instructions, it is a breeze for kids of all ages to assemble and enjoy hours of fun.
My son and I both loved the motorised aspect of this model, as well as the ability to use pieces from his various Lego sets to enhance the Ferris Wheel, including adding people and extra structural elements, such as a ticket booth, etc. I was also impressed at how we could use gears from other models, both K'nex and Lego, to change the speed of the wheel, and also add linkages to other models to make extra use of the motor.
My son adored this model, playing with it for hours on end, until it was time to disassemble and pack it away for the night. personally, my only tiny niggle was how wobbly it seemed. Sure, it wasn't in danger of falling apart if someone breathed too hard, but it certainly wasn't as stable and sturdy as I would have liked. However, more K'Nex to the rescue, and pretty soon you could have stood a kid on top of this and watched it stand... in my mind, this is the great thing about these kinds of construction kits... it's ability to be extended well beyond the intial design.
Overall, a most excellent addition to the K'Nex range, and I look forward to seeing what wonderful new kits they come out with in 2009!
