My children have watched Hi-5 since they were wee whipper snappers and it never seems to get old. I put 'Go Wild' on today and four of them were lined up on the couch for the entire DVD.
My daughter likes to sing the songs and she is eight. I know that one of the other reasons she likes Hi-5 is because of all the cool clothes and hair do's.
For my 4 and 5 year old boys I think it is very educational. In this DVD there was lots of talk about nature and animals which I find most children enjoy.
My 21 month old son loved to point at all the animals, much to the frustration of everybody else watching as he did this from 1cm away from the screen! He also did a lot of dancing (if you could call it that).
'Go Wild' was a great all round watch. There are so many elements to it with the nature, dancing, singing, instruments etc...
My children and I love Hi-5 and will be watching them for many years to come. I highly recommend this DVD.
I really liked this DVD because there was a lot of cool stuff in it, and the little parts that went in between the scenes were very cool.
My baby brother was watching this with me and he was staring at the TV as well so he obviously enjoyed it too.
My favourite parts were the stories because they were interesting and I loved the characters in the story. I really loved the one about Speckle the Jellyfish who didn't know how to float.
The songs were not really exciting. Some were, and some weren't, with a lot 'in between'. It was not as good as some of the other Hi-5 movies in the collection.
I think Sun did a good job of replacing Kathleen in the group and in the Jellyfish story she played a good 'Speckle'.
