Oh BOY! What a bonanza for any doco fan... 5 discs covering anything and everything you could possibly want to know about our planet and the living organisms that inhabit it's thin layer of livable crust.

Spread over 5 years, across more than 200 locations, filmed by 40 teams of professionals using equipment across the technical spectrum, from some of the most primitive to some of the most advanced, this is a stunning eye-opener for anyone who thinks that we are the masters of this gigantic interconnected web of life, and that we can do what we please with whatever resources we want, and there won't be any consequences. People who feel that way should be MADE to sit and watch all 4 of the series discs, and then the fifth, and possibly most stunning disc, "Planet Earth : The Future", which is a companion disc that looks at what could be the future of our planet...

One word of warning... unless you are immune to sleep, do NOT sit down and try to do a marathon of these... by the end of disc two, my brain was so flooded with wildlife information, I had to take a break... which manifested itself as a 14 hour passed-out-cold sleep. Fascinating though it all is, it can be quite a lot to take in, despite the weak commentary and sudden scene jumps.

Overall... this is a MUST HAVE title to have if you have kids. They need the education now, just in case we manage to save enough of the biosphere to keep them alive, and maybe, just maybe, they'll get the idea and not make the mistakes we have.

Breaking out of maximum security at Fox River was the easy part. Now, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) must fight to survive inside Sona, a hellish Panamanian prison where the only rule is brutal violence and the only way out is in a body bag.

So, with time running out, Lincoln ... more...
