A journey of discovery.
• How do your muscles work?
• Why does your heart beat?
• How do scabs form on your wounds?
• How do our ears help us to keep our balance?
Uncover the answers to all the secrets of the human body in this fascinating fact-filled book.
• Find out what's going on under your skin as you learn about the cells that build us.
• Discover more about the five senses that help us make sense of our world.
• Explore the major systems in the human body.
Far, FAR more detailed than the previous book, this book has no interactive compnents, but does contain a lot more detailed information and diagrams, including in-depth explainations of the reproductive systems, which perhaps make it more suitable for the 10-14 year old age bracket.
Extremely involved, this book has detailed illustrations of the structure and morphology of the body, from the smallest cell up to the largest organ.
All in all, a superior reference book, I think most suitable for the pre-teen to early-teen age bracket.
