I have seen the iPod range, I have seen the many spin-offs and copy-cat clones out there... but I haven't seen one in this price range, with this capacity (4gb in the e260 unit I trialled), at this size, that does anywhere near as good a job as this!

Not only can you play your music, but you can play your movies, your audiobooks, slideshow your photos, listen to FM radio, and even use it as a voice notetaker. On top of that, if you hear a good song on the radio, you can record that too! Complete with a MicroSD port, a USB connection, and even firmware updatable, this little multimedia gem is certainly a real contender for top personal media player, as far as I am concerned.

Extremely light, it hangs around your neck comfortably. Easy to use with it's illuminated dial controller, 5 buttons and intuitive software interface, this unit has everything you need, everything you are looking for, and the only drawback is... that you'll have everyone looking at you with envious eyes... trust me, it happens. The colour screen is amazing, despite being a bit too small for my worn-out eyes, but still manages to do a stunning job of playing movies. The software that comes with it, once installed on your PC, will accept a standard movie and automatically re-encode it down to a size and orientation to suit your device, making the transfer of your favourite movies a matter of time, not skill or stress. As for the rest... well, so long as you have suitable MTP drivers installed (which come default with Windows Media Player v10+) you simply attach the connection cable to the socket at the base of the unit, slap the USB plug into your PC, and the device will appear in the My Compter window as a removable storage device.

Not sure if you have MTP drivers? No worries! Jump into the settings screen on the device and under USB Mode, switch it to MSC mode... that is Mass Storage Controller... just like a pendrive! Yup, that's right, this thing is the swiss army knife of media players. It really does it all, and does it well... even the earphones that come with it are pretty comfortable, and trust me, that is REALLY saying something. not that I use them much... since my car radio died recently, I have had this little joy velcro'd to the dashboard and hooked up to my i-Cy penguin so I can cruise with sounds again. Overall... forget the rest, stick with the best... go buy SanDisk.
