Choc Fudge Brownies Product reviews...
When I first saw an ad for these Chocolate Brownies I was drooling before it had finished. I have always been a great lover of anything berry.
Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived. The box is a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. When I opened it, I almost wondered where the 5 brownies were. The brownie in the box was supposedly divided into five, but getting it separated was a real struggle, especially if you have warm hands from handling pizza. The texture of the chocolate was nice and the taste is rich and smooth, but the raspberry was almost lost in the whole thing.
A berry alternative for the dipping sauce would be preferrable rather than carrying on with this variation on the brownie.
Nice, but not, I think, worth the $3.00 pricetag. Disappointing.
An interesting berry twist on the chocolate fudge brownies. I don't usually mix berry with chocolate, it doesn't appeal to my fussy palate. So these didn't really do it for me. However I will say that as far as a raspberry/chocolate mix goes these are done quite well, as the berry isn't particularly overwhelming.
Basically, if you like a berry/chocolate mixture you will probably love these.
Rich is right... these things are so sweet you could drop one in your coffee instead of sugar... ![]()
Never one for berry flavours, excepting fresh strawberries, I was hesitant about this, but it's all in the name if investigative reviewing, so I took a deep breath, and then a bite... -drool- Oh mama this was nice!
The berry flavour is subtle, which was a real 'plus' in my book, but berryholics may find it a bit bland on the fruity front. It may be that a raspberry dipping sauce would be a good addition, in which case Domino's may decide to stick to the plain fudge brownies and simply offer a range of sauces to choose from.
Overall, a nice new addition to the menu to keep it vibrant and alive, but could have been much more than it is, and maybe will only lead to a modification of an existing product in the long term instead.
