Final Draft AV is a very specific script writer designed to keep audio and visual information side by side in two columns. It is different to Final Draft which is for 'normal' scripts as most people will be used to seeing them.
When I first opened Final Draft AV, I was not sure where to put things, but a quick look at a YouTube tutorial by the makers of the product cleared everything up and I was ready to get started. Important to note that the program does come with its own comprehensive pdf help manual. I just chose to go to YouTube because I thought it would be faster.
I really did like the feature allowing you to shift elements of audio or video around and line them up with a specific element on the other side. This software has been very well designed with its target user in mind and if you need to write AV scripts in the two column format, I would definitely recommend giving this one a go.
