Bloodtree Chronicles: Bragonsthyme product reviews

In Book 2 of the series, Bragonsthyme's story is frozen in time. It is up to Abigail (Spindale) and Flint to track down the story's happy ending by finding the dark master Treolle's last words, thus helping the Bloodtree to heal.

In so doing, they will ensure that the rare ice dragons live on, and reunite Flint's mother Trinket with his father Lonis, who left before Flint was born. But before Bragonsthyme has its happy ending they must triumph over the evil Rackenard, and his daughter Zezmena.

After reading the first book I was eagerly awaiting the next chapter, I like seeing what happens next and how the characters develop and grow.

There were a lot of twists and the story kept going in unexpected ways. I liked how the story wasn't dragged out for ages and some of the twists were easy to see but some were out of the blue. Even though the great aunts aren't a huge part of the main story I like how real they are when they interact with each other. I loved how things were explained and that some puzzles had to be solved before the answers could be revealed and some old mysteries were solved.

I like how the story is written like it is a book that still has chapters that need to be written and there are both good and bad characters. It is good that there are links to the first book but the story doesn't go over all the details again. I enjoyed how the dragon played a large part in the story and how it was explained in how the book got its name.

I will be keeping an eye out for the last book in the series, I know that good should triumph over bad but at this point anything could still happen as the story is yet to be written.
