This book is a favorite already with Miss Two who has even gone to sleep with it a few nights. We have read it to her every night for a week some nights three or four times so I think its safe to say that this book is a big hit for her! Miss Two has just started speaking but tonight when she was looking for the book said "The book with the mammoth that is dirty. He needs a bath" I am very impressed she can say 'mammoth' so that is another thumbs up for teaching her a big word!

My Miss Five and Miss Six like the story also and the words are so simple that Miss Six is able to read this to her sisters. There isn't a lot of text in this book so it is a very simple read i.e Step one: fill the bath tub but what makes this book are the absolutely fantastic and very funny illustrations. This is a very humorous book and the beauty of it is that the story can be read through the illustrations which makes it perfect for preschoolers and early readers.

I think that this book is worth buying for the illustrations alone as they really are fantastic and this is a great story to encourage having a bath especially if your child has been like a woolly mammoth and gotten particularly muddy. A definite 10/10 and a fantastic book to add to your collection or buy as a gift.

Have you ever wondered how you should wash your pet woolly mammoth? With this book, you will see in 10 easy (and sometimes not so easy) steps to clean and maintain your mammoths woolly hair.

Whilst the front cover is delightful, I liked the back cover even more with pictures of things such as 'Aquaphobic Dry Shampoo', 'Curl Tamer' and 'Antibacterial Hoof Wash". The back cover was a great source of interest for the kids and really got them into the mood for the story.

The pages are full of detailed illustrations which made the book even more fun to read. There's one page where you are required to turn the book around to read it and see it properly and the kids loved the sudden change in view. I have to laugh though, as I can easily imagine the kids using this as a guide book to pet washing should we ever get a dog (or they manage to catch the cat).

I really liked this book, I think it's really great and lots of fun. Forget the kids, I can't wait to read it to them again.

Product reviews for listing 569: Chainfire
Written by Terry Goodkind

Product image for ChainfireRichard observed the storm of activity swirling around him with an odd sense of detachment. Only the pain seemed real. he remembered hearing it once said that when you died, no matter how many people there were with you, you died alone. That's how he felt now - alone.

After being gravely injured in a battle, Richard awakes to discover Kahlan missing. To his disbelief, no one remembers the woman he is frantically trying to find. Worse, ... more...
