The pieces fit nicely together without being too stiff, and are easily held and put together by a 3 year old. I was worried that the colours would not be very distinct and it would be difficult for my son to tell the difference between the different dinosaurs and areas of vegetation. This is not the case. The picture is clear and he found it very easy to find the like pieces for the different dinosaurs. He also found the sky edge easy to construct and this has not been the case on other jigsaws. My only complaints are: firstly the picture on the box cover does not show the full jigsaw and the edges are missing. This proved a problem when trying to follow a tree down the left edge that is not on this picture; it confused my son so we had to use the very little one on the box side. Secondly, the box is not big enough and it takes some juggling and shaking to get the pieces in so that the lid goes on properly.

My first impression was wow! The detail in this puzzle, there are so many things going on in the one puzzle, I can talk to my daughter about it like a big story.

This puzzle really attracted me to it because it has very realistic drawn animals, barnyard, and farm equipment in it. The puzzle pieces are quite large, and also are thicker than normal. The new thickness (about 3-4mm) means they are very durable. They are hard to bend or distort, so a big plus, and are very easy to clean.

My daughter adores this puzzle because it helps her name all the 9 animals, and she says all the sounds they make.

The box it came in is also well made, and I am sure it will last the many years to come.
