The posters outside the theatre down-play the event somewhat. This was more than just Chinese acrobats and martial arts. This was pure theatre.

The acrobats are nothing like you have ever seen before. Even usually overdone and tired juggling acts came alive with these artists as they breathed new life into this skill to such a level that you will be yawning next time you see any other jugglers.
The usual circus acts that has all but the very young dozing had new energy injected into them. The balancing acts, the plate spinners and general acrobatics were elevated to such levels that it would be near impossible for any other act to come close to the levels that these performers gave.
The show opened with the dragon dance, which is something everyone loves to see, and with the skillful performance given by this troupe, this act was positively sublime.
The whole performance, whether the circus acts or the martial art acts were made to look absolutely effortless; such was the ease and consummate skill of these professionals.

The costumes of the production had almost every male drooling over the female artists. The humour projected by the performers transcended all language barriers. The were plenty of 'ooooh' and 'aaaah' moments; I had fingernails dug into my wrist during the tense moments. The audience laughed, gasped and sat in stunned silence. My hands are sore from all the clapping, as I am sure the hands are of everyone who attended the show this evening.

The only downside to this show, was the lengthy pauses when the compares came on to introduce each section, perhaps they could have come on every 2-3 acts rather than each act; this, and this alone made the whole performance a little 'bitty' - that aside, the show is THE must see show for this season.

A unique blend of outrageous humour and his witty, mischievous style of delivery, make him one of the best in the business.
