Heartside Bay #11 - Lovers and Losers product reviews

Life, love and everything in between.

The 11th book in the Heartside Bay Series.

Rhi has arranged for all the couples to go to a music festival. At first everyone is having fun setting up the camp-site, getting their fortunes told and watching the bands perform. But as the trip goes on, misunderstandings lead to arguments and suddenly everyone is fighting.

Will the couples survive the trip or is there going to be heartbreak in Heartside?

I have had a bit of a break from the Heartside Bay kids as the local library has only just managed to get the last two books of the series in. As much as I have enjoyed the books I am not sad to say goodbye to them. They definitely have had their fair share of dramas.

Rhi and Brody are headliners at a Festival, so the group go together for one last party before they have to return to school on the Monday. Rhi and Brody, Josh and Lila, Polly and Ollie, Becca and Eve. They spot a fortune teller and eagerly get there futures read to them - but the magical 'lady' tells them some home truths that they were not ready for. Kids being kids they over think things and all hell breaks loose. Some will survive but others will not.

It has to be said (again) I love Cathy Coles writing, the way she can describe a scene or express an emotion is fantastic. You really do not want to put the book down because you do not know what is going to happen next. Reading a couple of chapters before bed I ended up having such a restless sleep as different scenarios raced around in my head - I just needed to know how the story was going to end up. I awoke before 6am and had to finish the book. You really do become captivated by the books. Even if the story is not going in the direction you would like you still keep reading to find out what will hapen to the BFFs next.

definitely recommend this series to all teens, pre-teens and adults who are still hopeless romantics and enjoy a good love story. The story is not complicated and very easy to follow and the characters are really realistic and have there ups and downs. Great reading.
