We don't tend to buy nuts very often but when I do I love the sea salt ones. As soon as they arrived the husband wanted to get his hands on the nuts. The packet was easy to open and they smelt like sea salt nuts, they weren't oily and gross looking they didn't look too dry either.

My idea was to make peanut butter with it but sadly you can't do that with 90g so as a family we just ended up eating them, I started with it and then the husband got into it, and both kids wanted them the packet didn't last long at all. Although they are really nice, there is no where I will buy a 90g packet of nuts for almost $6 I would rather just buy a cheaper version that I can get more in a packet for less of a price.

Im pretty sure there are many things I could do with them like make a sauce for chicken but that wouldn't end up being a cheap sauce with the price of these, sadly its what I find to be the let down of this product. The taste is good, the saltiness is great and its not overpowering to make me want to drink water afterwards, the kids seemed to love them but honestly only lasted 3mins.

Salted peanuts are a staple snack in any pub or bar worth going to. Still, nothing is more natural and flavourful than sea salt, so having that on the peanuts just has to be better for you, right? These peanuts weren't oily, but nor were they dry - this is a great sign of fresh, quality ingredients.

Eaten purely as a snack, these were tasty, and used in a satay sauce these also performed well... but to be honest, while these had nothing at all I could find fault with, there was also little to really make them stand out from the cheaper nuts you can buy at almost any supermarket pick'n'mix, and in this case I have to ask myself "What am I missing here?" I find myself in the strange position of hoping I have blindly overlooked something... anything... that justifies paying gourmet rates for slightly-above-regular salted peanuts.

Overall, they were very tasty, but despite using only the best ingredients, they were not really worth the price. They really need to be something really special and different to warrant a price tag on par with the rest of the Nuttz Gourmet range - which has some amazing gourmet flavours from pretty much every culture around the world.

Product reviews for listing 377: Super Summer Spud Salad -  Created by The Phantom Gerbil

Product image for Super Summer Spud SaladTake a dozen small (about 4-6cm diameter) Gourmet Potatoes, wash and brush them, but do NOT peel them. (All the good stuff is in the skins.) Cut them into cubes about 1-1.5cm. Boil them gently in lightly-salted water until tender, but not squishy. You don't want a mashed salad.

While the spuds boil, grab some rashers of bacon, or if you don't have any handy (like me) use 3 or 4 slices of Ham & Chicken Luncheon, or shaved ham even. ... more...
