When my daughter was about 18 months old she got a nasty cut to the crease in her chin which got infected. I was always worried that the scar would affect her self esteem when she was older. When the scar was about 6 months old I decided to try Eternal Essence's Scar Balm.

To start with my darling didn't sit still for me to rub it in carefully so I was doing it by Braille. I used her chin cream twice a day when we brushed her teeth. After a couple of weeks I was finding it harder to feel the scar. It obviously wasn't as raised. After a couple of months I wasn't concerned about the scar anymore so stopped using the balm. The scar is now hardly noticeable. No one has commented on the scar since.

I have also used the scar balm on a school sore I got on my neck. I know that these have a tendency to scar so as soon as the bandage was off and it was a scab I started using the balm. Four months later I am still using the balm twice a day but I don't feel self-conscious about the scar. It is definitely much smaller than what it was.

Since I have been using the balm on very small areas the small pot is nearly empty. I am amazed how long it has lasted. It is worth much more than what it costs but then what price can you put on self-esteem.

Use them after an injection to help prevent swelling, and distract your child - they end up focused on the buddy not the pain. When using from the freezer always have a cloth between the skin and the ... more...
