Smooth Chopper product reviews

The Smooth Chopper is the new kitchen 'must have'. With both a blade and a whisk attachment you'll be cooking up a storm in no time. Chop herbs, vegetables, nuts, chocolate or puree sauces and baby foods using the blade attachment or prepare a smooth mayonnaise, chocolate mousse or ganache with the ergonomic whisk. You can even start with the blade attachment and follow up with the whisk to create the perfect smoothie, dip or sauce.

The Smooth Chopper is much faster and less effort than a knife - on average just 12 pulls are needed to cut your ingredients. A single pull rotates the three blades eight times, equating to 288 knife cuts in less than 15 seconds!

The base container is transparent, allowing you to monitor the chopping, pureeing or blending processes. Etched graduations are also on the base to make measuring easy during preparation, while a max fill line at 400ml ensures that liquid preparations will not overflow. The ergonomic shaping of the Smooth Chopper cover allows for both left and right-handed use.

System includes:
    •  730ml base
    •  Cover
    •  Integrated blades with extension
    •  Paddle whisk
    •  Storage Seal.

    •  Dishwasher Safe
    •  Lifetime Guarantee
    •  Capacity: 730ml
    •  Dimensions: 10.8cm around x 15.3cm high

I recently went to my first Tupperware Party, purely to make up numbers and I had promised myself that I was not going to buy anything as we were trying to save at the time, and knowing that Tupperware can quite easily become a very costly addiction I decided that this really wasn't a wise idea.

After being shown all of the pieces of Tupperware from the catalogues and not being tempted by any of it I was happy knowing that I was going to be able to walk out without buying a thing. However this neat little gadget seemed to have not yet been demonstrated. When the demonstrator announced it was time to go and make some basil pesto, I thought to myself okay we're going to make some basil pesto thinking a bowl, a knife various other needed pieces of kitchen equipment, but I was clearly very wrong, outcomes the Tupperware Smooth Chopper which I at first didn't think much of. However I was very, very wrong this thing was amazing, into it went some cashews, basil leaves, garlic and olive oil, and I watched in amazement as this tiny little machine broke these ingredients down into a pesto consistency with just a few pulls of a string, I could feel the urge of needing to buy this product coming on!

So I ended up purchasing the Smooth Chopper and this exciting little kitchen gadget arrived a few weeks later much to my delight. I have used this over and over again in the short time I have had it, at least once a week. It is perfect for making breadcrumbs, whipping cream, chopping herbs and chocolates and even for smoothies. The Smooth Chopper is so easy to use and it comes with a whisk, and blade attachment, to use it all you have to do is attach the lid to the bowl and pull the string (which is super easy to pull) a few times until your food items are at your desired consistency. Best of all it is dishwasher safe so very easy to clean.

My one and only Tupperware purchase that has proved to be a lifesaver in the kitchen, if you spend lots of time cutting, chopping and dicing in the kitchen I recommend getting one of these, well worth the money.

I went to a tupperware party a couple of weeks back not at all thinking I would buy anything as I find tupperware to be so expensive. I sat through the demonstration and nothing really caught my eye until this came out. I was so sold on it that despite all my I am not buying anything protests I had to have it. I bought the smaller sized one rather than this one but it works the same as this one.

At the demonstration the lady put in a carrot and with just a few pulls of the cord this carrot was in really small pieces and I thought it would be great for saving time in chopping up things like carrots for salads and when I want to add really fine chopped vegetable to my sons food. Even better this little thing can finely chop onion without my eyes watering at all which I love about it.

I tonight put in some pumpkin, potato and gravy and it mashed it up nice and smooth for my son's dinner, so you can even make baby food in it and just use the one container to puree it. The other thing I have pureed in it is some cooked pear and prunes for my son and that came up really nice and smooth in just a few pulls.

Your arm doesn't get tired pulling the cord either, there isn't resistance so it is not like you are really having to work any muscles to pull the cord. This is the first tupperware item I have bought and although yes it was expensive I really love it and would recommend it to any busy mum of young children it is such a handy little kitchen gadget to have.

Well I never thought paying so much for a item would pay off in the long run, It was really hard to hand over the money for this as its such a small item and cost so much. Handed over the money and I don't regret it, I love this product in my kitchen the best part the kids can use it too.

Things I have done in the smooth chopper, Onions with garlic and no tears with shed, Almonds to ground to add to ANZAC biscuits, I have made small smoothies sometimes that overflows as it goes over the line, eggs are good in it to whisk them up with a bit of cinnamon etc. I love the fact it comes with a bland and whisk, the blade is very shape do try and keep fingers away from it. The lid is good and it has a pull cord to make it all work a great for the arm a few pull and you have salsa or tomatoes that needed using up to throw in a mince.

The only thing I don't like is I have to get a knife or end of a spoon to take the top bit of the lid off so I can wash the white part, so the cord doesn't get wet and rot inside as that isn't covered in the life time warranty, but to me this is only a minor problem. This is pulled out at least once a day, even the hubby has got into using it, and the kids love it, they can make their own eggs with it or nesquick.

The Smooth Chopper was one of the first things I bought from Tupperware as an adult...and it is amazing! It is so quick...with a few pulls of the string I have a perfectly diced up onion without tears!! A perfectly diced up tomato, capsicum etc to make a lovely fresh salsa. The bades are so super sharp it takes no effort at all and the best thing is no power is used except muscle power so it is the perfect tool to take camping, which I have done...it was one of the first things packed ready to go.

It is easy enough to use that children can use it as well.....and they actually enjoy easy it....it isn't a chore to them to cut up an onion ready for dinner it is fun!! The whisk attachment is super fun to use as well to whip up a lovely chocolate instant pudding for dessert and the best part is if you whisk it for longer than normal it goes thicker and creamier right in the container which means it doesn't need to be refrigerated to set....perfect thing to take away camping!! Using the smooth chopper means camping now turns into GLAMPING because taking the smooth chopper with you turns a normal camping experience into the best camping experience ever. You can create master chef style meals rather than eating 2 minute noodles!

At the time I also purchased a smaller container that fits onto the chopper that is perfect to chop up herbs or garlic and the lid it universal and will fit on both containers to keep the leftover chopped or whipped ingredients fresh while being stored in the fridge. I love the red colour too as it looks stylish and I can easily spot it when stored away in the kitchen drawer. I don't use it everyday but when I use it, it gets used well and I love how it can be washed in the dishwasher.

Such a great tool to have in the kitchen....not a must have but if you do a lot of chopping this tool allows you to chop with ease and chop in literally quarter of the time.....I wouldn't be without mine now.
