We are great fans of Sam McBratney's famous Guess How Much I Love You book. When I kiss my girls (3 and 4.5) good night I say the classic line from the book "I love you right up to the moon and back" of a variation of it. For this reason it has a special place in my heart.

We were given this DVD when my girls were stuck at home sick. They both wanted extra cuddles so this was the ideal DVD to snuggle up on the couch with. It consists of eight episodes approximately 11 minutes long. This is the prefect length for a toddler's attention span.

It is a lovely DVD that makes you feel good and just want to spend time with your kids. My youngest giggled along as Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends did silly things. The stories have lovely messages appreciating what you have whether it is your home or your tail. Big Nutbrown Hare always has great ways of showing his little one how much he loves him.

I really like how the episodes are actually written by Sam McBratney. So often TV shows and movies that are a spin off of a book are written by someone else so they don't really reflect the essence of the book.
