My children absolutely adore Paw Patrol, especially watching the episodes on TV. I have lost count how many times I have watched several of the episodes over and over again, and our DVD shelf is packed with Paw Patrol DVDs. It had been quite some time since we have seen new episodes, so I was thrilled to find out I had been chosen to review 'Jet to the Rescue' as soon as it arrived the children convinced me to turn it on. The front of the DVD case is exciting, it shows the pups in new outfits, has jets flying in the sky, and says the disc contains a TV movie and 4 bonus episodes. The disc runs for approximately 93 minutes.

We sat down with my 3 children aged 4, 7, and 9 years of age to watch, initially I was worried my 9 year old wouldn't be too interested, however as soon as the theme song started playing all the children were mesmerized. The DVD starts at Barkingburg castle for the princesses birthday, but when a powerful item gets taken the Paw Patrol of course are on the case. There were several moments that the children were so engrossed they shouted suggestions at the TV, and several moments where we were all in fits of laughter.

Paw Patrol is one of the few children's cartoons I can honestly say I enjoy, the adventures are exciting, the good guys always triumph, and the pups are lovable. Each episode has the underlying message of kindness, teamwork, and problem solving, cleverly disguised by the cute characters, and vibrant animation. I highly recommend this DVD for children, especially the younger ones. The children will now be eagerly awaiting the next lot of brand new episodes to watch.
