With having 5 kids in the house 2 in nappies still and all still young to make messes and not only the kids, the cat and hubby. It's amazing what a wet wipe can achieve. Now when this came about with goats milk and moisturizing properties with all the other great vitamins which help skin heal etc. The packet is simple and white with writing on it to show what it actually is. The packet is easy to open and the wipes are a decent size not tiny either 70 in a pack should last a while.

So I have 1 toilet training child, 1 toddler in nappies and a new born along with two older children. We tried them as wipes for bums they are a decent size and for the 2 year old and newborn I o ly needed 1 for each nappy change sometimes 2 for the 2 year old which made me happy as I don't like using a lot of wipes. Hubby used them on our 2 year old 10 wipes later he said he didn't like them they were grippy, it felt they stuck. These wipes have a pattern on them which he reckons doesnt make them smooth to use and he ended up using heaps, to be honest he uses heaps for our other brands too.

Other than bums, these worked perfectly for the other things I use wipes for, to be honest if it's a quick clean I grab a wipe to lazy to get a cloth sometimes. Mark's off walls, dirty hands and faces, a quick wipe of the toilet seat after toilet training child climbs off leaving skidmarks on the seat behind. Used in the car after snacks. I love using wipes for windowsills, dressing tables all general dusting purposes and these did the job perfectly and I used less wipes as these ones seem bigger.

As perfect as these wipes are and as much as I love them I don't like the price tag for something I just throw away. I would buy just to put in the glovebox of the car as they wouldn't be used 10 at a time. Anyone looking for a nice wipe and can afford it I would recommend these, they great for children with skin conditions too, if it was the only wipe my kids could use I would buy over again.

Having three kids in the house, the need for hand wiping and cleaning is always at a high level, and although my kids are all older and definitely out of the baby stage, baby wipes always come in handy for many many uses, and definitely are not limited to the young child stage! Seeing these wipes with moisturising goat milk come up for review and availability was great timing with the covid pandemic, and big emphasis on cleanliness, hand washing and also being able to dispose of potentially germy things easily, but I was also interested because in our house there is a child with bad excema that we really struggle to find wipes that do not hurt her skin, so I was really eager to try these!

My first chance to use these was fairly standard - to clean the kitchen table after a colouring in session, where the felt tip had managed to make it onto the table! I grabbed the packet and was pleased to see that is is a biodegradable and recycled package, with an easy to open resealable pull tab. Pulling out a wipe, I was really pleased with the thickness and size of them - they are really good quality and feel really nice and soft while still being textured enough to (hopefully) clean well! Wiping them over the table it was easy to see how well they work from the removal of felt in one easy swipe! It was also fantastic that the table had no greasy or slick after feel which is one of my pet hates with wipes!

Next we had a tough test for the wipes - cleaning up chocolatey baking hands after making marshmallow slice. My middle daughter was helping me with this (she is the one with the excema) and so it was perfect as we could see whether they irritated her skin also. After making the slice bottom and using our hands to press it in, I grabbed her a wipe and asked her to use it and tell me what she thought - whether it worked, how her hands felt, if it made her itch and how her hands felt after they were clean. To say she was impressed was an understatement - she LOVED these! Her exact words were "these work so well Mum and don't even make my skin burn!" Like with the table top, there was no greasy after feel and the texture of the wipes got all the mixture off her hands really well.

The slight downside to these wipes is that the that top one, if you do not use them every few days, gets dry - however, this is a problem with most wipes, so not exclusive to the Terra wipes. The other downside is price, BUT, these are worth the price - it is more if I was using them daily, they would be a pricey option compared to others on the market. In saying that - these are NOT cheap wipes, they ARE more environmentally inclined, and are DEFINITELY worth the money you pay if you are not having to use many daily.

All in all I really loved these wipes, and would absolutely purchase them - especially to give to new Mum's as a gift too, knowing that they are gentle on sensitive skin, strong, non greasy and made with NZ water.

On child number three I have gone through countless baby wipes and many many different brands and I rate Terra baby wipes very highly. It is great to use a wipe made from natural fibres over the plastic based baby wipes the material feels a lot softer on your skin and is great to be using a product that is better for the environment. You can feel the fibres break down if you pull the baby wipe so know that they will decompose well unlike their plastic based counterparts.

I have tried the other varieties in the Terra range and really loved them but was eager to try the goats milk as love goats milk skincare products for their gentle cleansing qualities and the moisture they add to your skin. For my toddler I love the goats milk for cleaning her face as she has sensitive skin prone to eczema so these were gentle on her face and soothing for dry spots adding moisture back into her skin with the natural abilities of aloe vera and vitamin e. The wipes do not have any added perfumes which is great for a baby wipe designed for use on babies gentle skin so I love the fact that there is no added nasty chemicals or perfumes.

I love to use baby wipes for washing my own face at the end of the day as I find them great for removing makeup especially stubborn eye makeup and the terra wipes are gentle enough to not irritate my sensitive eye area and the goats milk adds some great moisture levels to my skin. While Terra wipes are more expensive than the cheap plastic based varities its great to know that they are not only gentle on my families skin they are a lot better for the environment which is something we all need to be more serious about.

I am guilty. Guilty of using baby wipes for things other than changing babies booties. What do I use them for? Well, I've always used wipes for quick cleaning! A lot of wipes I've tried break up pretty easily when I try and do anything other than wiping down kids, but these Terra ones are brilliant!

Starting with the strength, I put the wipes through their paces doing a bit of spot cleaning around the house. Wipes are excellent for aluminium window sills as they can get into all the small spaces easily and without big messes of using unnecessary spray. They easily got into all the corners and took away any muck that was in there and I didn't get it all over my hands. They also got fly markings off the light fittings around the home (thankfully we have high wooden ceilings and the flies don't make their marks up there), which I always found to be hard to clean and such an effort. But this wiped clean off quickly and easily.

And then using the baby wipes on a baby (or preschooler in this case), I have used baby wipes for messy faces and hands. I know a lot of people can't stand that idea, but you always use what you have on hand and what you can get your hands on easily! And although the pack isn't easy to open with just 1 hand because the closure is quite sticky (which is good for keeping the moisture on the wipes wet and usable), getting single wipes out with 1 hand wasn't hard at all. They aren't attached to each other, but instead fold inside the next one so you don't have to worry about getting lots out in 1 go like some brands! The goat's milk makes them nearly unscented so using on the face wasn't a major drama for Miss 3, but was gentle on her skin which can react to some harsh chemicals.

And just when I thought my review was finished and I had put the wipes through their unusual paces...I turn around and find my youngest drawing, in felt pen, on our wood varnish door. Out came the wipes and easily wiped it off! And then I saw a drawing that I hadn't seen before and was dried on. Came off with very little scrubbing and left no traces at all.

The price has put me off for buying them as cleaning wipes, but if I was to use them for kid wipes, then the price sounds about right to me.

It has been about four years since wipes were last used on a child's bottom in my house but that didn't mean the end of the usefulness of wipes for our family. My youngest gets quite gunky noses, this isn't due to colds or the likes but due to the hole in her mouth and so more comes out of her nose than the typical child, usually this is snot. She has to be careful when cleaning her nose, as she is very prone to nose bleeds, so when I suggested she give these wipes a try she was happy to give them a go. She wants to be Miss Independent however some items just won't cooperate with her and so they had to be handed to me to open. Once she'd managed to get out one wipe and not the half dozen that wanted out, she said it was nice and soft on her face and cleaned it up well with no blood nose caused.

If I can avoid using spray and wipe to clean, I will, they don't agree with my breathing (especially when getting over three weeks of being sick). On a particularly bad day, I needed to clean the table and so grabbed these to use, they did a good job and I used fewer than I expected, so all I then needed to do was to dry the table when I was finished. We have a cat that goes toilet in the house sometimes, when my ten year old noticed she had pooed this time, she grabbed the wipes to clean it off the floor before giving it a spray to get rid of any lingering nasties. These wipes have been used in a variety of ways, with none breaking or getting holey. We did find that the packet began to tear after a while, so they'd either dry out or need to go in a secondary container, which would put me off buying it at $8.99.

I had just picked up my review pack of wipes when I had occasion to try them out! It was quite lucky, really. I had intended to visit a friend who had a toddler and a new baby as I thought they would be ideal testers, but I arrived at my daughter's house with the packet still in my bag; we all piled into her car, off to watch the children perform at a ceili. There was to be a dinner included in the entry price so we assumed it would be finger food as the event was to take place in a hall.

Many of those present were children so the food was designed with plenty of kid appeal. When we were summoned to eat, Mr Nine and Miss Seven were both ecstatic to discover that the menu included spare ribs and sticky slices - firm favourites with an unprecedented mess potential. They both got stuck in enthusiastically while my daughter started to work out how many wash loads she would be facing at the end of the evening. The food was certainly delicious, and some of it did end up in their tummies, but there was also a sizeable amount on their faces and hands.

That is when I got the wipes out. They had not realised I had them with me; out they came and suddenly we had two clean children again. They even worked on a large blob of sauce on Miss Seven's tights. I offered the pack to the adults and everyone took one, very relieved to be able to clean off their own fingers. And suddenly the family at the next table asked if they could have some too! Great success all round. I told the other family where I had got them, and they too were highly impressed - especially since they were thick enough to do a good scrub job while feeling soft and comfortable on the skin.

On the way home we talked about them some more. The plan was to put the used wipes in the compost bin as they could not be flushed, but as they are biodegradable it seems silly to put them out with the rubbish. It will be interesting to see how long they take to break down. I compost brown paper waste and it takes several months to disintegrate, but eventually makes good compost. We all like the firm pack closure but my son-in-law said he would like to see them produced in a smaller pack size for travelling as they have a short use-by date once they are opened. The 70s pack is fine for home use of course.

And I did get to my friend a couple of days later. Both her children are in nappies, so she had the perfect opportunity to try them. She noticed a slight, very pleasant smell when she opened the pack; presumably that is from the goats' milk as the pack states it is fragrance free. She was delighted with the children's response; they both have sensitive skin and she had been afraid they might have a reaction to the new product, but there was no sign of any irritation. The pack did state that it was hypoallergenic, but it is always sensible to try it out anyway.

I left her with the rest of the packet; she was very happy as they were going away to visit family in Whangarei so these would be ideal for the journey. Travelling with little ones can be challenging; the wipes will certainly make her trip a lot easier. And as she mentioned, although the pack is quite expensive, the wipes are sturdy and one will be enough for most uses.

We get through quite a few baby wipes in our home and I find them useful for cleaning sticky hands and faces on the go. Terra baby wipes are made in New Zealand, use organic ingredients and contain locally-sourced Goat Milk which helps to naturally moisturise the skin. Although they claim to be fragrance free, I did detect a hint of 'something' which I suspect is the goats milk, compared to the Manuka Honey wipes which I thought were totally fragrance free. The wrapper has a plastic opener which you have to open slowly and firmly to ensure it not only opens but doesn't rip and I did find it frustrating having to push wipes back inside in order to close the packet. The wipes themselves are strong with a slight texture. They are damp enough without being too dry and are effective at cleaning sticky hands.

When my girls both saw the packet contained goats milk, for some reason they weren't keen to use them so I had to ensure they didn't know which wipes I was using on them. It was reassuring to know they are designed for sensitive skin and I felt confident using them on both mine and my daughters faces. The wipes also helped to remove one of my daughters fake tattoo's that she had left on for far too long.

These are definitely superior wipes to the cheaper brands I have used in the past. They are more expensive than regular baby wipes but I would use these again as facial and hand wipes as they did leave my skin feeling clean, nourished and refreshed.

Who ever created baby wipes needs a medal - they are the most amazing creation ever. I can no longer imagine life without them. Since having two children they were the one consistant item we used. From wiping their toshies, cleaning faces/hands/bodies, to wiping booga noses, cleaning high chairs, vomiting - you name it baby wipes took care of it!

Fast forward some 5 years years since using nappies we still use wipes on pretty much a daily basis. With animals/kids I do not like to use harsh chemicals so I use baby wipes for most of my house hold chores. They are so simple to use and the best thing once you have finished with them you just throw them away easy as. Also they are a godsend when we travel north as my eldest daughter always gets car sick over Mount Messenger or thru the gorge. They are perfect for wiping her face and hands and then wiping out the sick container.

Right on to the review..... the other night my husband dropped bright blue paint on the carpet the call for the baby wipes quickly followed so thought this would be the perfect oportunity to try them out. The problem lay when your in a hurry and your panicing over the paint drying you can not open this packet quickly. My husband was screaching 'how do you open it' and threw to the side and grabbed the other wipes. Luckily the paint came out.

I sat down a couple days later to check the packet out and even at a quick glance it is not obvious where the opening is. I did however find it after reading the directions for use which said Peel resealable label back slowly so worked out was in front. I was also surprised to read that these are best used within a month of opening them. Which won't be an issue for us just means won't be leaving in the car. The other thing that did surprise me since made out of Natural Bamboo with Goats Milk I was hoping would mean flushable but these are still required to be placed in the rubbish bin.

I like to clean my bathroom at least once a week especially the toothbrush holders and my giant shell and babywipes are fantastic for these jobs. The towelette is rougher than I am used to and not as wet, it definitely was rather dry and although did a good job I am not sure how well they would go on a dry soiled bum or a pootobhia. I also cleaned the toilet seats and rims with them. I did like the size of each towel. Where as it did do the job I did have to add some water why cleaning my sink.

I do appreciate I am not the ideal canditate for this item but as I regularly purchase wipes for various reasons and occasions it is still good to see what is out in the market. I do find the product rather expensive and for the reason as well as its dryness I don't think would consider purchasing again but for an organic product they were very nice to use.
