I had previously tried the charcoal version of the soused soap Hogmany and loved it, such great soap bars that do a great job of cleansing and have great natural ingredients. Coconut is one of my favourite skin care product ingredients I love the fragrance of coconut brings back memories of summer holidays with coconut sunscreen. Alongside that I have found coconut milk and oil to be a great skincare product as they keep my skin soft and hydrated with out aggravating my sensitive skin, their natural ability to soften and hydrate are amazing.

When I opened the Loaded Coconut I could not mistake the coconut scent so I loved the soap straight away without trying it, it had a sweet caramel coconut scent in my opinion which could be in part to the coconut sugar, and ground coconut which have a very sweet scent. I was impressed with just how many coconut products were used with the milk, oil, ground coconut and coconut sugar, the bar had a gritty texture like the hogmany did with the sea salt so I am guessing that would be a combination of the sugar and ground coconut either way I love this element as it has a exfoilating result.

Bathing with the soap left my skin soft and moisturised and left behind a great level of fragrance so my skin was left smelling fresh, I also found the bathroom smelt great for awhile after showering too. As I noted with the soused Hogmany soap bar the colour does come off so if left in a soap dish or on the vanity surface it will leave a colour behind, in this case brown like the soap bar it is easy to wipe away and doesn't stain I just preferred to use a soap dish to store it.

I have extreme eczema and for most of my life I have stayed away from soaps (unless doctor prescribed) as I can easily have a reaction to them and my fingers/body breaks out. Fast forward some thousand years and we got a Turtle. Now anyone with a Turtle knows how messy they are and they can carry some pretty yucky diseases and if you have a turtle you need to clean the tank, like, all the time - hence I am now a soap user.

I am still extremely cautious with anything that I use and I always do spot tests. Opening the bar up I was hit with a nice fragrance I wouldn't exactly call it Coconut - don't get me wrong there is a unmistakable coconut presence but there is more of a perfume berry like. It was nice but then I thought it was flowery so not sure how guys would like it. I got my husband to smell it and he said it smells like something you would eat then decided it smelt like Coconut Mcintosh lollies. It was wrapped in nice wrapping and I love the description on the cover 'Like a starry night on a desert island, there;s light and dark in this one. A little gritty, a little smooth and a smell that calls from the tropics. You won't mind being alone'. The bar itself reminded me of marble art.

After leaving it on my skin for two days it appeared I had no reaction and the tank needed an urgent clean. One happy turtle two hours later I gave my hands a cleaning with the soap. I was so happy that it did not dry my hands out, neither did it give me any reaction what so ever so after having to put my hands back in the tank a couple of hours later as the heater had fallen down and I had a very naughty turtle banging it against the tank, I again realised that I would need to clean my hands. This time I took a little longer and gave them a really good scrubbing and again I had no reaction which is just awesome!

Although $12 is very excessive for soap I can appreciate that this is no ordinary soap and that it is made with Beer. I think it would make a lovely gift for someone, as it does have that feeling of being special and it is much larger than most soaps that I buy the rest of the family. A treat I will enjoy using for some time to come.

Soused Soapery Loaded coconut nut soap has a fragrant aroma before even opening the wrapper that wafts out the tropical coconut smell. The first thing that grabbed my attention with this soap is its large size and being a male with burly hands I welcomed it and appreciated it. The size of the bar basically takes up my whole hand and compared to an ordinary soap bar I would say it would be roughly 3 times the size. After using this soap numerous times now I adore how it lather's up very well and has a somewhat scrub to it because of the coconut flake's within it.

I needed to put this soap to the test of what a soap is really used for though and that is cleaning so I took the bar of soap to work and after a hard day's work I applied the soap bar to my greasy stained hands, lathered it up thick and was pleasantly surprised that it had cleaned my hands perfectly. I really didn't think it was going to clean them as well as it did so I decided to leave this soap at work for myself.

Since using this product I decided to check the rest of their range and was surprised to see it is quite extensive and the look of there bars is almost art like. Although I am very impressed with this soap and would like more of the range to have I cannot justify spending the price of twelve dollar's per bar but if I was to find them on special I would purchase them for myself or as a gift for someone else.

Soused Soapery - Loaded Coconut soap bar smells divine and is a treat at that, I could smell it without even having to hold it up to my nose to sniff the soap bar. When I opened the beautiful wrapped bar I could smell it straight away and couldn't wait to try it. While in the shower and using the bar I realised just how big the soap bar was and thought it was a little bit too big for a bar of soap. I did however love the smell and noticed how it got a good lather up of soap easily.

I really liked how the soap bar also felt like an exfoliating glove a bit when using it and I really liked that, was kind of like a gentle massage. I would image this soap bar would last awhile as it is so big, but for the price of it I am unsure if it is something I would buy for my household. $12 a bar is a bit steep for my budget, but as a gift for someone it would be nice and a treat. I loved the smell while using it and afterwards as well.

The packaging is nice and the soap car comes nicely wrapped. The plain and simple packaging but affective, I like the black and white. I would recommend to friends if they were after a gift for a friend, but as a weekly soap to use in the house I would say it would be out my friend's budget as well. In saying that though the bar is amazing and big and you would get lots of washes out of it, so it would be value for money.
