Magnetix by RoseArt is such a great educational toy for young children. Let your child's imagination run wild not only will they connect the rods to the balls to create different patterns but they will connect the rods to just about any magnetic surface you have within your house. My nieces would stand the rods on their ends and line them up on the fridge and spell their names. After that they would make a tall tower out of the rods by staking the rods on top of each other to see who's one would come crashing down first.

I like toys that have the ability and flexibility to be used in other ways from what is stated on the instructions, this allows the user to use their imagination. Another way my nieces used Magnetix by RoseArt was as mini bowling ball game...on top of the tall they would line up the rods and then use the ball to roll and knock the rods over. There are endless things you can do which is great, and the competitive side comes out to see who can construct the tallest tower or can knock over the most 'bowling' pins.

Not only is Magnetix by RoseArt for children but adults can join in on the fun and excitement too. However you may need to purchase a few packs though as it is a hard toys to share even with family, because the more pieces you have the taller and bigger towers etc you can make to become the winner. But you also must have plenty of time on your hands as you will easily lose track of time because you get so involved from having so much fun and what a great way too spend time with your children (or nieces) yes a toy for both boys and girls, both young and old.

I totally recommend Magnetix by RoseArt to everyone who wants to have fun no matter how young or old you are, it really is fun for the while family, and the way in which you can interact with it are endless, let you imagination take over and have fun.

I thought this product was a bit pricy. My son spent all of xmas day with his magnetix. The kids just love them!!! I have found that after 6 months of constent use, the magnets started to come out and get lost and the kids lost interest. i now have $600 worth of magnetix that just sits on the dresser in a tangled heap.

What a great toy this is for the kids, keeps them entertained for hours, and quiet too Smile Icon, I was intending you tell you all about all the wonderful designs I was able to build with this kit, but unfortunately I can't as I just cannot get them away from my kids long enough to have a good go at it myself, so instead I just have to sing it's praises in it's ability to keep your kids quiet for hours on end while you can get on with doing whatever it is you want to do. I have seen my kids build some really cool stuff with it, all it requires is some immagination and the inclination to spend some time doing it.

This is a very cool toy. As my first encounter with magnetic building kits, this was a bit of an eye opener. Its like lego with velco, every piece can attach to each other, or to a steel ball acting as a universal joint allowing connections at almost any angle.
I loved the bright bold colours and the sheer number of parts allowed me to build some interestingly big structures. I enjoy building geometric shapes. Can't pronounce most of them, but they are fun to build and explore.
By mixing these rods with some of the other kits I think you could expand the fun many times over, building more complex and beautiful things so if you plan to buy this kit, don't buy the one, buy a number of them.
