My daughter has enjoyed the Thornberrys since before she could talk and has always loved the antics of Darwin the chimp and Donny the wild boy. I have always enjoyed the father character Nigel the most partly because he is voice by one of my favourite stage and screen actors Tim Curry and partly because the character himself is scatterbrained and ditzy yet has a wisdom that shows up at the most unexpected moments usually when he is having a heart-to-heart with Eliza. In these six episodes it is good to see that Eliza is not always the primary character, making this a wonderful collection. Nigel gets to show his sage fatherly skills in 'Nigel Knows Best', Darwin is the centre of attention as the chief performing entertainer in "Dinner with Darwin" and Marianne is the lead producer in "Stick Your Neck Out". Its a nice coverage that is not often noticed on TV. This show is kids-friendly with minimal - if any - actual violent actions being seen and it carries some good family value messages too making it is a wonderful viewing choice for any parent. I give it Thumbs UpThumbs Up
