Toy Story 3 product reviews

With their beloved Andy preparing to leave for college, Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the rest of the toys find themselves headed for the attic but mistakenly wind up on the curb with the trash. Woody's quick thinking saves the gang, but all but Woody end up being donated to a day-care center. Unfortunately, the uncontrollable kids do not play nice, so Woody and the gang make plans for a great escape.

This movie is a hit with my kids, they feel sorry for the toys who think they are being abandoned and they come up with a plan which sounds like a great plan but the toys find out the hard way that new toys at day care are really popular with the kids, sounds like any toys dream come true but things aren't always as they seem.

I like that the same actors are used through the whole series so the voices sound the same and the toys don't suddenly sound different and the toys aren't showing signs of wear and tear, the animation is good, the toys look life like and it wouldn't be hard to imagine the toys coming to life.

As with any good movie there are good guys and those who are not so good. As an adult it was easy to see what the bad guys were up to and the kids caught on really easy and were on the edge of their chairs with some scenes. Buzz and Woody were firm favourites and they loved coping the escape plan but putting their own twist on it.

I own all three movies on DVD and the kids have some Buzz and Woody toys and have a great time in their imaginative play so I would say these movies are well worth watching.

It took awhile but it was finally decided that a third Toy Story movie was needed and what I really liked about this one, right from the start, was that it doesn't take place right after the events of the second film, but takes place a few years later when Andy is heading off to college. All the toys but Woody think that they have been dumped and start to try and settle in their new home, Woody is trying to convince them otherwise and along the way we have the villain in the movie. We have all the familiar cast from the previous two movies and the same voice actors, so the continuity sticks well.

This has a great plot to it, easy to follow, well written and a good moral of not letting your pain and heartache be transferred on to others causing them pain as well. There are a few toys in the kindergarten that are familiar and there is a good range, plus the toys look well and truly used. This film has a lot of heart to it, from what happens to our toys when we no longer want to play with them but also of endearing friendship between these toys and that makes this one of the few kids movies that has me moved to tears.

I don't own this yet but you sure as heck can bet that I will.
