I had noticed this in the shop and was thinking it could be great for my boys to be able to learn and play and have fun. Never had any experience with the original leap-pad tablet but the staff assured me that this one was much better and faster and had a whole lot more storage, better graphics, better quality and all the bells and whistles. What helped sell the deal was that you can have three profiles and each one is separate so the kids can play under their own name and not have the siblings mess their progress.

The kids find it easy to play, you can use fingers as well as the stylus. I'm finding that it is not that easy to get the game cartridges but there are literally hundreds of games and books and other apps available online which are easy to download and install. The games are fun and what the kids love watching on TV and the game is almost exactly what they do see on TV.

I seem to have a budding film producer, I had a look and there are a lot of short films he has done. The quality is good and it is easy enough for even a six year old to do without asking for help so the instructions are easy to follow and clear. The photos are of reasonable quality and the camera is so easy to use, I have had a go and it gives you step by step instructions. The kids have dropped the leap-pad a few times by mistake and it is scratched but still works great.

I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their kids to have a fun learning experience. Only thing I would change is that the batteries only last a few days before needing recharging.
