Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason product reviews

The Wilderness Years are over! - but not for long. At the end of Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridget hiccuped off into the sunset with man-of-her-dreams Mark Darcy. Now in the Edge of Reason she discovers what it is like when you have the man of your dreams actually in your flat and he hasn't done the washing up, not just the whole of this week, but ever.
Bridget is back.

As a sequel, and with a recent movie based on it, you might have certain expectations. This book is as funny as the original, but is a little different from the movie. Book fictional character Bridget Jones actually meets the real life actor Colin Firth, which would be hard to do in the movie since Colin Firth actually plays Mark Darcy in the movie!

Bridget Jones is an entertaining take on modern life: Singletons, career girls, Smug Married, and plenty more material that I'm sure many Singletons, past and present, can relate to. The book opens with Bridget blissfully beginning her relationship with Mark Darcy, but knowing Bridget, if it can go wrong it will!

Product image for Wit & Wisdom of Tyrion LannisterShort and to the point. That's Tyrion. Here are the finest, funniest, rudest and wisest sayings of the miniature Machiavelli; the dwarf with a brain the size of a planet and a heart of (tarnished) gold.
