Wise Cracks product reviews

Humorous animal photos are captioned with witty one-liners that touch on virtually every aspect of our lives. The threefold purpose of this clever little gift book is to provoke a smile, remind the reader of typical human foibles, and inspire readers to recognize something of themselves in the humorous phrases.

For instance, a typical photo shows a family of lazy walruses lounging at the seashore, and the accompanying caption reads: "Exercise is a dirty word. Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate." Close-up, black-and-white photos appear on every two-page spread, and each cleverly-captioned picture reminds us that animals and human beings have more in common than we sometimes like to admit.

I love this series of wise cracks books and calendars even!! The everyday sayings in this book has me laughing every time I read through the book and it is a great distressing read at the end of a hectic day or tiring week. The accompanying black and white photographs on every page adds to the laughter and comical feel about the book.

My favourite quote within the book is....

Therapy is expensive,
popping bubble wrap is cheap...
you choose!

This seems to fit me and my personality as well as my job perfectly, and I use this saying all the time, There is nothing better then taping a large sheet of bubble wrap to the floor and running backwards and forwards or the bubbles and listening to them pop or the best is to jump up and down. I can't help but feel 110% better, because bubble wrap does make the world a better place!

I have bought heaps of these wise cracks books as presents too because I think they are the perfect gift for that person who has everything! Because you can never have enough smiles or laughter in your life and these books make sure there is plenty of happiness whenever it is around. Well worth the money spent on buying it in my opinion.

Product image for Black Spiral #1 - Violet BlackSet in the near future, this first book in a fast-paced trilogy will hook you in from the first page.

Violet Black and Ethan Wright are both in a coma after contracting the lethal M-fever. They have never met:

I couldn't speak, but I was trying so hard to communicate and then... then...I pushed. And something, someone, pushed back. Her name is Violet. Violet, but she is sunshine-yellow, and I need to find her because I ... more...
