The first thing I thought when I saw this product was "I MUST have this book!" The cover looked awesome, the picture of Captain America was pretty darn nice; he looked active and alert, and it sort of sets off a feeling of excitement in your head, and it was this feeling that made ask if I could review this. The movie pictures were great; they made it easier to form a picture of the scenes in my head.

I was disappointed when I found out that the book didn't go all the way, it stopped right when it was starting to get into the cool part, the final battle, but hey, it was a storybook, not a transcript; so it's reasonable why they didn't do the whole thing, just like they did with the Captain America chapter book. I really enjoyed reading this; it was high in action, even though it contained fewer details than the chapter book and the actual movie.

I liked the way that the pictures seemed to fly out at me, it was like looking through a window into a world that had stopped moving, and the best thing was that the pictures were showing important times and heroic battle scenes. It turned a bunch of pages shoved in a cover into a long, and very cool poster, telling you that you have GOT to go and see the movie.

I say that that this book is okay for any kid over 6 years of age who can read, because not only is it kid-friendly, but it is also something that kids will read over and over, not wanting to tear their eyes away from the pages. The price is okay, I would have expected something like this to be even just a few dollars cheaper, but $12 is still reasonably affordable, or at least it is at my perspective. I think that your child will love this book for ages, so enjoy!
