Great magazines for learing some more photoshop skills with easy to follow tutorials. The two copies I have, January/February and April/May 2006, are the first photoshop user mags I have looked at. Both have techniques that I will be using a lot for my graphic design course, and if I can get over the frustration of trying to use Illustrator I can use those skills too :D

Tucker   Review #49 - Dated: 4th of November, 2003

Having been a photoshop junkie for many years (since v2 on the MAC actually) I was stunned to find that I could have had access to this fine publication without the expense of signing up as a NAPP member. To be truthful, it wasn't so much the cost that stopped me, but more the feeling of "I am NOT a professional, so..."

But to my great joy about 2 years ago I located a magazine reseller in my home town that was importing the issues and was willing to get an extra copy in for me too. I was overjoyed as my Photoshop skills started to improve dramatically... with the help of this magazine I felt good enough to start going 'public' with some of my artwork... which is a big deal for someone who can't even draw a circle freehand!

Always packed with hints, tips and tricks that to the experienced may seem obvious and somewhat basic, to someone wanting to sink their teeth into Photoshop and grow their ability, this magazine is an invaluable aid. And with the added bonus of an annual "Top 100 Tricks" this magazine is worth far more than mere money can describe.

If you are serious about wanting to improve your Photoshop knowledge, I can not recommend this publication too highly! My only regret is that by buying it through a retailer, I have to wait longer than the NAPP members, who get it sent directly to them as part of their subscription and membership.

To Scott Kelby, PS Guru and Editor-in-Chief, CONGRATS! And keep up the great work! It is appreciated by all who absorb your fine publication.
