My little 3 year old had become completely engrossed with 'Frozen Fever', I have lost count of the number of times that we have had to sit down and watch Frozen together, or that we have listened to the Frozen soundtrack on repeat continuously, I swear I know the songs 'Let it go' and 'Do you wanna build a snowman' off the top of my head ^lol.

For Christmas Miss 3 insisted that all she wanted was Frozen toys, while looking around the toy shops in town for some suitable toys to buy I stumbled across the Disney Frozen - Princess Dress Up of Anna, one of the main characters from the hit movie. Working in a daycare which Miss 3 also attends gives me great insight into what toys she actually really loves playing with and allows me to see what wouldn't end up being a total waste of money, so I knew this was going to be perfect as we have a similar dress up doll toy that she spends a lot of time playing with.

The Anna dress up doll is made up of very sturdy wooden magnetic pieces, which I think is a fabulous idea as the costumes stay in place and don't keep sliding off, a much better idea than using paper! The set includes a Anna doll, and also a stand, clothing, shoes and accessories, all which were worn by Anna in the movie. Miss 3 loves dressing Anna, both with styles from the movie and also by mixing and matching the pieces to create her own styles, a good way to foster imagination and also for teaching children that they can make their own choices in regards to what they wear. The only problem Miss 3 faced with this was trying to dress Anna while on the stand, as we found this a bit tricky with some of the items not wanting to stay on, we resorted to lying Anna flat and now have no problem dressing her.

This has been a very worth while purchase in our house with Miss 3 still pulling this out regularly to play with, Frozen may have been off the screens for some time now, but it is still going strong in our strong in our house, with my princess loving little girl. There is also a Elsa magnetic doll available that I would love to buy if I got the chance.

My daughter is Frozen mad and after seeing this up for review previousily I just knew Santa had to get. I really wanted the Elsa version and as they had been sold out throughout town jumped on line and ordered Elsa. When arrived put straight into Santas sack without looking and so was rather disappointed come Christmas day when my daughter pulled Anna out.

She loves playing with her paper Barbie version and spends ages dressing and redressing her but the problem with paper is it rips and gets very tatty. Upon looking at this I was so impressed with how sturdy it is. The outfits are devine and have beautiful glitter to make it more glamouress. The problem is there is no lid for the container and I am guessing it will not be long before the small pieces like the gloves will go missing. Because it is magnetic it is rather hard to put layers on as well. Even though there are 25 pieces there are not really a lot of options and I was rather shocked to find my daughter had already pushed this to the side and was back on the paper version after only a week.

I think this has a lot of potential but just does not reach it. The skirts are great but the capes look silly as you can see the top underneath which just doesn't work. I think they need to add more variety for the tops and leave out the capes. Not the winner I was hoping for.

Frozen, the movie that thrilled little girls the world over, including my own. Featuring songs like 'Let it go' and 'Do you wanna build a snowman?'. Songs that drove parents batty as they were heard everywhere, day in and day out. Most little girls wanted go be Elsa. The blond Queen in the ice blue dress. Not my girl. She wanted to be Anna. Elsas younger sister.

I wonder if its because shes already blond and for once wanted to be different. I don't know but what I do know is, she was over the moon to get to play with this set and that it featured Anna! The sst comes with over 25 wooden magnetic pieces. If you have ever played with fiddly paper doll kits tben you will have an idea of what this kit is. Some concept just wooden and magnetic instead.

So basically you get an Anna doll, stand, clothing, shoes and accessories. The quality is actually amazing. You can dress Anna as per the movie or you can mix n match. However, if you have not seen your kid mix n match outfits then I suggest you dont. It doesnt go down very well with the child, no matter how clever you think you are lol you can dresz the doll and then reenact movie scenes of jn my daughters case fashkon shows. Its also important to play on a smooth flat surface to allow the stand to sit evenly and to prevent things toppling over.

So its a really great set and fun but there were somethings that could have been different: it would be cool if you can get other sets to make big playset scenes. It would be cool if each set came with an animal or snowman. But the thing my daughter pointed out that was most annoying. When the wooden doll is in the stand she can not wear all the provided shoes/boots as the stand stops there being enough room. This really annoyed my daughter and she was really frustrated by it.

All in all a great fun set that provided some great mum and daughter time and is really good for hand dye coordination and generally child development.

I have a child in my house, who a year later is still Frozen mad (bet you can guess what she wants for her birthday next week...) and so this was a must when I saw it come up for review.

I let my Frozen mad child play with it first and the look on her face was well worth it. Right away she was into it, trying to figure out how she could play with it. She pulled out the stand and placed it on our carpet, soon learning that wasn't the best place for it, then tried it on the wood, where she is at now with her development, figuring out how to hold Anna whilst she put the clothes on was too hard, but she discovered that leaving the stand in the box meant she could dress Anna hands free, and her siblings copied her. My only issue with the box is that I wish it came with some kind of lid as with this getting transported all over the house I don't want to loose any bits.

My youngest has been really loving this and has insisted that everyone has to ask her before they can play with it, she's very particular and has had great fun dressing her over and over. My five year old has had great fun trying out the different outfit combinations and has queried if you can buy more clothes for Anna to wear. My seven year old has had fun both being very particular and making sure that all the clothes and accessories match to being weird and wacky with skirts for tops, tops for pants and plates of biscuits for a hat, he's enjoyed it as much as his siblings have.

This has been great fun and I know that they will get lots of play out of it, I'm even thinking of getting the Elsa set for them, if just to see what combinations they might come up with.

The Frozen hype has been phenomenal with kids everywhere absolutely obsessed with the film and the merchandise. Even my 13 year old loved the movie and I can say the song Let it Go has been drummed into my brain probably for a life time. Although it is a princess movie my 3 year old son loved it too and loves the Princesses. Although this is probably more predominantly aimed at girls I knew my son too would really enjoy using it so I was stoked when we won this set in a KIWIreviews competition.

In the set you get a wooden Anna doll and stand and 25 pieces of magnetic wooden clothing to dress Anna up in. You get a good amount of pieces for the price so you can get a good amount of play time out of choosing different outfits and mixing and matching the pieces. I thought it was great value for money and would probably buy the Elsa version too to have both sets to play with. It is quite a simple idea but is lots of fun.

I remember sets like these from when I was younger and my 13 year old too remembers them so it was like a little blast from the past and I do admit we too got involved in creating some funky outfits. The wooden pieces and the wooden doll are magnetic so when you place the outfit pieces onto the doll they stick on due to the magnets which is pretty cool as you can stand the doll up and the pieces stay on a lot less fiddly than these paper dress up doll kits where you have to fold little tabs around to hold the clothing pieces on.

I would say these are good for children from 2 years of age maybe 3 depending on whether they are a mouther of not, but in saying that I don't think the pieces are too dangerous in terms of swallowing as they are all a fairly decent size. My 3 year old had no trouble figuring out what to do. I thought it made a great alternative to a jigsaw puzzle which my boy struggles with a bit because these still require a bit of thinking to put the pieces in place.

All in all I was very impressed and would definitely buy a set as a gift for family and friends children, as they are a good price for a good toy.
