My 2 year old daughter just loves pasta and it is by far her most asked for meal, even when we go out for dinner she chooses a pasta meal over anything else on the menu, even over chicken nuggets and chips or hot dogs and chips which most kids would be begging for.

I often buy the full sized Latina Fresh pasta for dinner at home and while Miss 2 will happily eat any of the varieties served up to her they are often very big and awkward for her to handle and for her to pick up and eat. When I saw the kids sized fresh ravioli in the supermarket chiller I decided to get them for Miss 2. Not only so that she could enjoy a similar pasta to what her Dad and I would be eating but also because I loved the fact that these contained 5 vegetables and chicken. Miss 2 is usually really good at eating all her veges but there are still times where you have to sneak them into her and these seemed like the perfect way of doing this.

I cooked these up for Miss 2's dinner and they were ready in about 10minutes, so nice and quick. Miss 2 loved them and I have to say I would also happily eat them myself. The pasta was fresh and cooked to the perfect softness and the filling had a great taste to it and was well seasoned especially considering it contains no added flavours. We have tried this as is and also with a tomato based sauce and a cheesy sauce and all work well. We still buy this now and will continue to for some time, a great easy, healthy meal that tastes fantastic.

My son loves the latina pasta range and when me and my partner have them he always eats off our plate even when he has already had his dinner! I seen these and thought they would be perfect for him with there smaller size as the bigger ones you have to cut into pieces for him to eat.

Well he just loves these and I know when I give him a bowl of them for dinner he will eat the whole bowl. The great thing is they have veges in them but you wouldn't know they were there as they are not at all visable, sometimes I have to get very creative to get him to eat vegetables so things like these are great.

I buy the latina sauces to go with these when there is a good special as he also loves the sauces a whole lot more than mums home made cheese sauce. He really likes them served with sauce although he gets very messy as he likes to eat these with his fingers. In saying that though he still really likes to eat them without the sauce so either way they are served he will still eat them.

My fussy 11 year old won't eat them as she doesn't like the filling so a pack is too big for one meal for my son so when I buy a packet I transfer the contents into freezer containers in individual portions to have for dinners. Freezing them doesn't alter them at all they still have the same fresh pasta taste even when they have been frozen.

I saw these on special for under $4 last week and picked up a pack. Even though the packet said it only serves 2, I thought this was a huge pack. Given I'd be feeding a six year old and a one year old with the packet, I figured that there was plenty in there and I could also eat with the addition of some sauce and vegetables. My husband goes out on occasion and this would make a change from our usual go-to of scrambled eggs on toast.

Roll forward to today and neither of us felt like cooking. My husband decided we could have sandwiches for dinner. So I made some sandwiches, but I knew they wouldn't appeal to the kids. So I cooked up this pasta. The packet was easy enough to get into. It did have a 'peel here' piece but I must admit I just stuck a sharp knife in. I boiled some water and then added the pasta pieces. There was so much in the packet, I was still unsure that this would be a true two serves.

I dished up a moderate serve to my fussy eldest daughter and I added a squirt of her favourite tomato sauce to the side. Then I gave it to her and stepped away. After a while I noticed that she was eating the pasta around the sides and avoiding the middles. I mentioned that the middles were chicken. That was the magic word apparently. She started to eat the middles and with lots of mmmms she finished the plate. She said that the pasta was delicious and it was great dipping into the sauce. She then asked for another helping and a third as well!

My baby sat in her highchair and I gave her a choice of pasta and cheese sticks. She ate most of the pasta as well as all her cheese. There was a tiny amount left in the pot when they were both done and I snuck a few pieces to try. The taste was good. It was almost like a chicken sausage middle. I liked that there were vegetables in this as well but it didn't taste like it as well. A very child friendly meal.
