Review #8194 - Dated: 28th of April, 2013 Author: tessak |
As a wife and mother my families health and diet is very important to me, especially that of my 11 yr old son. He struggles with a very low appetite and is underweight, so in a bid to find some alternatives that would be yummy plus beneficial for him we also checked out NutriPlan.
NutriPlan is a delicious drink, that can be made with both milk or water. We recommend it with milk though, it offers a fuller, creamier yummier drink. But it is good to know that when milk is running low, water is also an option to make it with. It has many healthy, and nutritious ingredients that do not harm children's growing bodies. Each ingredient of NutriPlan is an ideal nutritional supplement for everyone, and most of all for children.
It is very easy to use too. The box comes with a scooper to use to scoop out the powder; 3 scoops for a light meal and 6 scoops for a full meal to 600mls of water/milk (cold or warm). The powder should be blended well with the milk or water, and when the mixture is smooth enough, it is ready to drink. If you cannot use the drink immediately, you can store it in a the fridge for up to 24 hours. It will preserve its nutritional qualities in the course of that period.
We have tried all the flavours, and each are as yummy as the next, and as NutriPlan is cheaper to buy off the shelf then similar products we tend to buy this one more often. It is not only great for the kids but also great for myself and hubby as we often skip meals (especially breakfast).
