In this ensemble comedy, 10 Years follows a group of friends on the night of their high school reunion who, a decade later, still haven't quite grown up. Channing Tatum plays Jake, who is deeply in love with his girlfriend and ready to propose-until he runs into his high school flame for the first time in years.

Jake's friend Cully married his cheerleader girlfriend, and has been looking forward to the reunion so he can finally apologize to all the classmates he bullied in high school. However, after a few too many drinks, the jock-turned-family man ends up reverting back to his old ways instead. Meanwhile, longtime rivals Marty and A.J spend the night picking up right where they left off, vying to impress the hottest girl in class. The famous one of the group, Reeves is now a rock star, but is still too shy to talk to his high school crush.

After receiving this DVD to review we settled down to watch it for our Saturday evening... I totally enjoyed this movie (as did my fiancee) and it was exactly what I needed to un-wind, have a giggle and take my mind off things. Its one of those movies I would totally watch again, and would probably put it on again just because there is nothing else on the tv. In saying that - Im glad I didnt pay to see it at the movie cinema's - its one of those movies that is kind of typical comedy - high school reunion & relationships - I prefer to keep the movies for special occasions/movies!

This movie kept both of our attentions easily and we had a few laugh out loud moments, although probably not as many as I'd hoped for. We had to laugh at some of the characters and their relationships together as we've got friends who are exactly the same (Im pretty sure most people would!). Jake (channing tatum) is the main character as such and a lot of the movie is around the fact that he was about to ask his girlfriend to marry him... that is until he runs into his ex at the school reunion!

As Jake does his best juggling the two girls his current girlfriend gets sick of it and goes home for the evening, I actually thought this was going to be a typical he meets his ex and goes home with her situation but it wasnt which was great. I also really enjoyed the message it explored as Jake wanted to make sure his ex was okay before he moved forwards in his live. It was a humbling and noble gesture.

While this is all going on you've also got several other "scenes" unfolding as some of Jakes class mates get drunk and start causing trouble - again another great laugh as Im sure we've all been there at some stage in our lives!

All in all a great movie that I would happily recommend to others after a relaxing, no brainer movie with comedy, romance and school antics all mixed in together ^:)
